Learn to read charts, MACD is common and useful.
Pay attention to volume, having 100 BTC worth of a coin with 2 BTC daily volume isn't going to be much use.

NEVER buy a coin because you see it mooning. Nothing goes up forever, it will crash when you buy and make you feel very bad.
Also, if you see that a coin has increased in value say 30% in 24-48 hours, be patient and wait it out. It will likely start crashing and sometimes the downtrend goes on for days. Patience is key here in choosing an optimal position to enter the market.

Populous has finally found a bottom in the $3.60 range.
This Friday Populous will be announcing a new road map, they're bringing the dates for their platform's beta and release forward. They will also be announcing details about a new business relationship which will help solidify their platform.
If Populous is new to you, it's an ERC20 token which will allow you to give short term loans to small businesses. Once the platform is released we'll be looking at some comfy passive income.
PPT is my long hodl. Unlike other coins/tokens which I'm just flipping, PPT will have an actual use. Once the platform is out, there will be no reason to sell the token because it will be so valuable to stake.

The crypto market is exploding and the chances of making good return on the short and long term are very high.
THe risk of losing everything is lower than the risk of missing big gains IMO.

So i work for a sunglass hut in a macys and today my boss wanted me to relabel some old sunglass tags when she left i went to the corner of our stand to label said glasses. This tall black guy runs past me and
I say hi and he smiles says hi out of breath then leaves. Few mins later i go and see he wipes out 4 guccis and 3 versaces ... Right from behind the register. Security was notified and they said he put them in a bag and left, in a macys¿
