Can we have an anime thread, /bant/? The /a/ hivemind hates the animes I like and says only "crossboarders" like them, so I can't go there.
I have very few cowimu pics. I may have to resort to cowboys.
Re:Creators is better than I thought it'd be from the name. Alice to Zouroku is my jam this season. I wanna start Shuumatsu no Izeta, but I keep not downloading it.
I have mixed feelings on re:creators. It's a very good concept but I feel like sometimes the show misses a lot of opportunities to really explore the idea of fictional characters becoming real. It's interesting enough that I'll probably finish it though.
I got pretty bored of Izeta. Nothing seemed particularly bad about it, I just lost interest 4 or 5 episodes in.
It shouldn't try to do everything at the expense of authentic reactions to fictional characters becoming real, or it risks just becoming another genre crossover mishmash, I figure. It's already a batter stab at the concept than Last Action Hero.
But really, try to get inside a cows head. They aren't very bright creatures, if they weren't domesticated the chances of them being alve would be very slim, even other animals can tell they're delicious, so they're probably really hunted in the wild.
But even then cows don't really exist in the wild either, I've personally only seen them on farms or in farmlands with some person watching over them. They are by definition completely domesticated.
In a way cows are the niggers of the animal kingdom.
They owe any and all of their current race to the humans who keep breeding them to use them for milk and meat and they're fine with it. Most of them just sit there and eat grass waiting for their turn to be made into a nice burger just like their mother and the mother before them. They are the modern slaves, owning a cow is now the american dream.
There's just some scenes where it feels like you really need to "turn off your brain" for them to make sense, like the scene where the creations meet with the government for the first time.
>It's already a batter stab at the concept than Last Action Hero.
I disagree, I really liked how campy and self-aware Last Action Hero was. I'm a big Schwarzenegger fan though so I'm biased. I'm willing to forgive that movie for it's logical flaws because it is explicitly a satire.
Nothing interests me, got bored of Little Witch Academia
Patlabor (the TV series)
K-On (season 2)
Magic Knight Rayearth
Waiting for next season for Made in Abyss lad
I'm just reading manga, I want to distance myself from anime since it's clearly bad for you.
>having to discuss anime with elitist fags that don't know shit beyond the memes on the industry but keep telling them as they were facts or complete awkwards rejects that dive into that degeneracy so hard you even feel bad for them
I rather read the occasional chapter and just focus on watching western stuff, at least it can be used as small-talk.
