fun fact, pepsi and coke taste different because of their times of conception. coke was created before refrigeration, so it's designed to be consumed warm. whereas pepsi was designed after refrigeration, so it's made to drink cold. if you drank room-temperature coke and cold pepsi at the same time, they would taste the same.
