On a Friday night which is usually the busiest night of the week I'll make maybe $90-120 on a 9 hour shift. Average is probably $75-80, depends on if I stay late or if there's a lot of deliveries after we close for carryout because those tend to tip better. Nine times out of ten they'll agree to throw another one in the oven or put a credit on your next order. If it's a really busy night there can be up to 10 or 12 free pizzas to choose from. Yes. Our dispatch system sometimes specifies a certain way that orders should be delivered, but if I notice that an order has a lot of pizza in it or is from a known good tipper, they will always get their pizza first. I try to remember what they like, if they ask for parm/red pepper, etc too if they've been ordering for a while.

Step 1: your order gets accepted by the store, labels start printing out, insiders put them on boxes

Step 2: order goes up on a screen over by the makeline in a shorthand that makes it easier to display, makeline makes it, presses enter on keyboard once it goes into the oven, indicating that it's:

Step 3: in the oven for 6 minutes 30 seconds or 7 minutes (some stuff takes longer to cook), once the time has elapsed, it goes to

Step 4: insider takes it out of the oven, boxes it, puts oil on crusts, cuts pizza, throws it on a hot rack where it sits until a driver is ready to take it

Step 5: driver got dispatched with your pizza and it's either out the door or he's waiting on part of an order to come out of the oven

actually delivery driver here. i keep all my tips in an excel sheet. blacks tip about $2.05 and whites tip about $4.85. i have had less than 5 deliveries to hispanics or asians.

everyone who tips a standard deviation above the average will get their food first and fast, then tippers over non-tippers.

all non-tipper addresses are documented. they will always have food fucked with. i also run errands while non-tipper food gets cold.

i have two cars. the car i deliver in is left at the store for tax purposes. i write off everything associated with the car.

i end up claiming about 9 dollars an hour to the irs, but my real average hourly wage is about 18 an hour.
