The colours we see may not be the same as what othres see, if I call the colour red, it's because i've been told my entire life it's red, but it doesn't mean we all see the same colour even if we all call it red, my red could be your pink
>>736393326 cont >The law of attraction is real >Contentness is the solution to maximizing satisfaction and happiness >Psychadelics usually do not help people >Shbstance addiction only occurs to certain people >Religion and the trust in God can be a useful metaphysical placeholder/tool of sorts
niggers are inferior. the idea that we're all the same is total bullshit. why are they still in mud huts where they were left alone to construct their own culture? "because resources!" that excuse only goes so far. theyve had plenty of time to catch up and theyre still living in fucking mud huts. you wouldnt say a fucking pit bull and a golden retriever are the same. they have different temperaments and levels of intelligence. same goes for humans.
>>736393223 I can't remember the name but this is a well documented philosophical theory. Even touched on in some religions; Buddhism believes that our reality is an illusion based on our perceptions, and although there is an objective, true reality we only see the version we've learnt to see through our human eyes and ears. Do you think a bug sees the world the same? It's fair to assume we can only interact with the world through our own perceptions.
That said, if 'red' invokes the same feelings and reactions in all of us (for the most part) it's fair to assume our experiences are similar even if our perceptions are not.
Tl;Dr: It's ultimately not important as we can't exactly see the world through someone else's eyes. Don't think about it too much.
There is literally 0 evidence that homosexuality and transgenderism are normal and not mental disabilities. The chief arguments are "there's more than we thought" (obviously if you categorize by symptom not by cause) (same for autism), "it's not a choice" (are any of them?), "they're not hurting anyone" (that wasn't the question), "they're very convinced" (so are schizophreniacs), and "it hurts our feelings when you say that".
>>736394151 it very well could be. as for gay people i dont think it matters. for trans fuckers, i think we do need to know if its a mental illness. theyre getting surgery to "change" their sex so they dont have to feel trapped in the wrong body. sounds like a lot of inner turmoil. the only grief fags get are from other people who just need to fuck off.
>>736394314 It needs to be public is all. I'm sick and fucking tired of people saying gender and sexuality is a spectrum, when 97% of the world is cis and straight. Homosexual fantasies in straight men does NOT mean there's a sliding scale of sexuality, no more than regular stupid people have Down syndrome. Even Bill Nye has changed his tune.
a slut is a slut and ill fuck it even friends gf >be 26 >visiting friend and staying for a week >friends gf lives with him and his dad >shes alittle chubby but fuckable and an ok face >his dad is on a date so house is to ourselves for the whole night >friend and i get to drinking, his gf joins in soon after >everyone is in their pajamas, notice his gfs ass. cant hide boner well. >his gf is getting tipsy but so are we. we call her amanda >amanda starts to move her body towards me >we all talk and laugh and shes touching me every now and then >friend is oblivious and gets up to use restroom >amanda readjusts her sweatpants and i spot a tattoo >i ask about it and she shows me her ass cheek, its a butterfly >she practically has her ass in my face, no underwear either >shes talking about it and i move in closer and she just pushes everything towards me >im eating her while shes trying to continue to talk >she asks to wait for her when i use the restroom later >friend comes back and we continue drinking >i get up to take a piss and she makes an excuse to get laundry out >were both in the hallway, i have her pants down and eating her and tell her to lay on the floor >im fucking her from behind as we both keep a lookout >im pumping her and grinding that ass and shes trying to keep her moans low >she tells me to cum inside her already know shes on birth control >she definately feels my dick getting ready to pop and pushes her ass against me and grinds as i cum >her pussy smell is starting to fill the air, so good and nasty. >we get up and straighten out, spray air freshener. total fuck time was 2 minutes. >she tells me to keep my door open later, friend sleeps like a rock >get to fuck her every chance i get while im staying over. >almost got caught while i was nutting inside her
I think Trump is fucking hilarious. im not even a little worried. He has literally trolled the entire world, and now, just like on the internet, everyone is out to try to troll him back. It shows how immature the entire world is, different cultures and creeds all acting like children instead of taking care of themselves.
here ill give my own unpopular opinion: people who are unable to critical examine their own positions and approach things in an honest manner dont deserve to live or at the minimum should have their vocal chords and fingers removed
>>736391721 Cancer is most definitely not fake however I think many people would not die from the cancer they get if they just changed their lifestyle. I don't mean just eat a serving of veggies with your meals either. 1 year ago after a 12 year relationship I woke up 400 lbs and after a doctors visit prediabetic or even diabetic just in a grey area. I drank pepsi just pepsi at that time I went through a 2 liter bottle or even a bit more a day along with all the crap mcdonalds like food I could choke down every night for my one huge meal a day. Getting out of that relationship fucked my head up because the truth was she was ugly and fat herself but I had grown too love that tight slut that I had popped and people have told me multiple times that my love had blinded me. They were right. So realizing I was on track to die fat and lonely I took out every fucking drink in my house and bought 500 bottles of bottled water. 1 year later I have had only a single drink other then that. I cut out most foods that were horrible and EVERYTHING I had eaten before I halved if I still ate it. A few months ago I started walking around to the local places I used too drive as I had noticed my weight loss slowing from diet alone(and I found I could walk more then a block without feeling like I was climbing k2). Also the lack of eating was making the muscle I did have from lugging all my weight around for so long start to shrink. I am now at no more then 300 and while I still am only half way there other changes have made me cringe knowing that I didnt start sooner. My blood sugar is normal and the rash I had under the man tits I had is gone. Similar injuries too a foot that I had a few years ago and last month are night and day. When I was fat it took a damn year to heal a cut that took me weeks now and I can only imagine the injury's or disease inside me have started healing most likely saving my life. (specially the pack a day burn on my lungs). If you have cancer work out.or die.
>>736393366 >the population >the government (Assuming you're american) Cancer is a pretty widespread thing. I would imagine that if there was a cure for cancer found somewhere outside of the US it wouldn't be hushed up so that America can make money off of chemo.
>>736396259 you're even more of an idiot. homosexuality occurs throughout nature. therefore it's normal. just because you don't include that in your narrow-minded, religious definition of normal doesn't mean intelligent people have to do the same.
>>736396553 Normal doesn't mean average or majority. For instance, blue eyes are rarer than brown eyes, but I would classify, and few would argue with me, brown, blue, and green eyes as normal. However, red or yellow would be abnormal, given their high rarity. For another example of the difference, the average dick length is 5.5 inches, but normal ranges from 4.5 to 7.
>>736396663 Arbitrarily, in the meaningless comparison scheme you have invented. Apes genetically eat bugs instinctually, but I doubt you'd see anyone eating bugs. Not that they're bad, but people would instinctually find it abnormal.
>>736397014 Not quite. The real reason is that a child can be traumatized and being able to consent is a very important step of the process. The problem comes when you slap some number on it, and declare you have to have been breathing for that number of years. I think that individuals should be evaluated on individual maturity. An extremely intelligent and mature fifteen year old would be allowed to have children, whereas fucking retards like yourself would not.
>>736397446 English can't describe it adequately. But, again, nearly everyone knows what is meant. And in this absolute specific argument, I'm using it to mean "not a mental disorder, disability, illness, or condition". Which, again, should be obvious to anyone if they read the post.
>>736398339 I didn't say I don't like it. I'm not bothered by it, I'm just sick of people misclassifying it. And my original argument was literally the exact opposite of that. Ironically, my reasoning was a hefty lack of evidence presented, and you seem to be continuing that trend.
>>736398568 > Sure. Sure, boy you have literally no reason to think otherwise. My best friend is gay, for chrissakes.
And I am not a psychologist. I don't know precisely what makes a mental disorder, and I wasn't there for the original classification. I _could_ type out three completely different brain errors leading to identical transgenderism effects, but I'm lazy. Suffice to say that both at one point _were_ mental disorders, and people had good reasons. There was no reasoning for taking it _off_ the books, other than how people feel when you tell them their belief is a mental condition. Even your argument of "you personally can't prove it is" not only wouldn't hold up if it was the afternoon instead and I had my computer out, but also doesn't prove the opposite either because THERE'S STILL NO EVIDENCE FOR IT.
>>736398121 >English can't describe it adequately. But, again, nearly everyone knows what is meant. so its an undefinable nebulous concept you throw at things you dont like, you dont need clear logic and reasoning because you can just fall back on a word with no defintion as your explanation. Seems intellectually lazy, if you dont want to put the mental work into formulating good opinions stop sharing them
>>736398121 not the same anon that wasn't the same anon as the person you were responding to that wasn't the same anon as the original poster.
I agree. People get more attention being abnormal and defiant. Society has made all weak minds addicts by removing all the consequences of acting like spoiled pratts. So they all sit around and say "why not?" like being able to argue makes you smart.
Cancer is real AND the government uses it to make money. They brag about it even.
>>736399993 if you start a proposition with meaningless bullshit the odds of it producing meaningless bullshit are pretty good
>And in this absolute specific argument, I'm using it to mean "not a mental disorder, disability, illness, or condition". whats your argument, so you want to call it a disorder, what does that do? Its certainly less prevalent than heterosexuality, its not the most common way of being. But thats about as informative as saying dirt is brown.
>Which, again, should be obvious to anyone if they read the post. its not
>>736391721 >we should (be able to) marry off female teenagers >affirmative action, gender quotas, and all things like it are morally wrong and unconstitutional >abortion is morally wrong and not a necessary right for women, also infringes upon the much more basic right of a father's ownership of his child >we should Make Africans Slaves Again or encourage Africans to move back to Africa and renounce US citizenship >at the least welfare should require a minimum number of community service hours per week >mandatory military service wouldnt be a bad thing >mandatory voting and voter ID laws would be a good thing >We should offer free/payed for sterilization to certain undesirable groups (Africans, those on welfare, people with inheritable genetic illnesses)
Most parents are bad parents, even though they are constantly told that they are not.
If you: >Feed your child McDonalds, ever >feed them junk food more than once or twice a month >Give in to their demands for anything, ever, without explaining why to them >Let them watch more than an hours TV a day >Let them play vidya for more than an hour a day >Let them go outside and not know where they are or what they are doing >Lie to them about anything that isn't trivial in nature (for example, reinforcing the corporate illusion of santa claus or other myths of the sort) Then you are a bad parent. You should not have had children without first thinking of solutions to these problems, and you are helping to create yet another generation of degenerates.
Might not be unpopular here, but in real life it's very unpopular, especially with said parents.
>>736393326 I strongly agree with number 2, Im glad to see another non-materialist
Materialism is false and has become the comforting lie about reality people tell themselves (so they can see everything as more understandable and sure) in the same way materialists view God as a comforting lie.
Things and beings have a quality to them beyond the sum of their parts
If a cure to cancer was found, some rich Jew would know about it, and that rich Jew would pull his rich Jew American strings and ensure it was hushed up
Because all big money that circulates *always* goes back to several rich Jew families, who are working together to maintain their position and power. >>736396422 Murder and rape occur in nature. Eating poisonous shit and dying is nature. Getting parasites is nature. Extreme cold and heat are nature.
Wow, it's almost like nature isn't actually a (inherently) good thing, and we didn't evolve to be like nature but to survive it! It's almost like all of human history has been trying to create a better world for ourselves than nature provides!
>>736396955 Agree with this >>736401903 It isnt about psychological damage in terms of having the person recorded consent to the recording being viewed, its about the fact that it's a video of them that was released when they were incapable of proper consent (while sex and pornography may have no immediate impact on the kid, because that kid will become an adult sex and pornography will take on certain meanings and will involve more complex ideas, feelings, and morality. A kid does not understand the way future adult them will view what is happening and cannot consent. A kid doesn't have complex morals or desires like 'I want my first time to be with my husband' but will later, in this way you are robbing the child of choices they are only able to make as an adult). They should be able to decide if a video of them in that situation is viewable.
>>736402032 I agree with this, but at the same time if we notice specific trends then we notice them. And at the same time, if a particular group desires to uplift itself and focus on its own members before others, I think that is something they should be able to do. All people should do this for their own.
>>736402281 >>Let them go outside and not know where they are or what they are doing idk i think kids fucking off and doing whatever sometimes is a good thing, obviously bad shit can happen but i think our tendency is often too much nurturing and avoiding risk
>>736402389 Found the bad parent. Stop being lazy nigger.
>>736402472 Oh I'm not saying permanent supervision or anything like that. Just avoid extremes, like >Sit in front of a TV all day every day to keep them quiet or >Let them go out until whatever time they want without knowing who they are with or what they are doing
It's easy to avoid these situations without being a heli parent. Just spend some time with your kids, instill them with good western values, but also let them do their own thing, as long as you know they aren't burning down bus stops with their degenerate friends or anything.
As for the santa thing, how can lying to a child about such a thing be a positive thing. It *can* create a subconscious trust issue between parent and child (not always but can). The positives of getting them to bed early for one night a year doesn't seem perpetuating such a lie all year round.
I actually feel quite strongly about this. I think bad parenting is the reason our society is failing, because all the problems we have could have been solved in advanced if people weren't fucking lazy.
Realistically you wont know where your kid is all the time if you let them go outside. You can tell them their boundaries, you can ask them to tell you where they're going, but at a certain point they will be able to essentially do what they want and you wouldnt know unless something went wrong.
This is actually an *incredibly* important facet of childhood development. The ability of children to be away from supervision of adults and to have to make their own choices/decisions (which may contradict with yours or even be mildly dangerous) is necessary for the growing brain of a being who will one day need to leave home/be self-sufficient, as is natural for our species and many others
Knowing this to me I see nothing wrong with a mother simply telling her kid to play outside, and not stray too far. In this way you directly give them that freedom without requiring that your kid learn to disobey you to fulfill basic needs (the instinct to pull away from your parents and go on your own, to test the world).
>>736402840 its not even TV any more, parents just give their kids tablets and stuff to sit on youtube with or whatever
kids are turnin into faggots, if you try to say anything they will say "you dont understand what its like to be ____" usually followed by whatever you are
for example if you're white, it's black, if you're married, its single ect ect
basic defensive attitude of retards who let their kids do this shit
my parents did all they could to stop me playing video games but i really didn't listen, all i wanted to do was play video games, now im a raging faggot who's 22 and only fucked 1 prostitute, cant socialise, dont have any friends and probably a bunch of mental illnesses and heavy drug use over the past few years
>>736402773 Well certain trends are bound to show up. What are the odds that every race has the exact same amount of people good at the exact same things? Not likely. Given a group of 500 men and 500 women and 100 of the women are better at math, it doesnt mean women are better at it, the odds would be incredible if it was an EXACT split.
>>736402840 I think you can make an argument for the utility of believing lies, if we all behaved rationally all the time none of the dopest shit would exist because it really doesnt make sense to dedicate yourself to something in any rational sense, but dope shit requires irrationally dedicated and driven people
im not sure how i feel about this... personally im like autistic about the truth, lies are repulsive to me.
again if u got time to spare
look up yuval noah harari he has a tedtalk, podcasts, wrote books
tl'dr stories motivate humanity
(and stories are necessarily false) (and we dont know what our story is in 2017 and thats why people are freaking out)
>>736402773 >I think that is something they should be able to do. All people should do this for their own. i disagree first we prioritized our self then our offspring then our tribe then we abstracted to things like race, nationality, etc, etc i think broadening our horizens is a good thing, someone who care for their family is better than the selfish person someone who cares for their tribe is better than the one who only cares about family someone who cares about all of humanity (or even all conscious life) is better than someone who only cares about self/family/social group/abstract group
>>736403229 >personally im like autistic about the truth, lies are repulsive to me. I am the same. Lies have a very limited use in the world (lying for someones safety etc.). There are VERY few good reasons to ever lie to your own child.
Your point about stories is good, and I like how you think, but I wouldn't say that stories motivate humanity so much as the creative force BEHIND said stories.
And there is no creativity in lying to a child to get them to go to bed early, with a story invented by years of disfigurement of a Germanic myth. This lie exists to sell products, and if you perpetuate it you are just helping make wealthy people wealthier.
Stories do motivate people I agree, but try to pick a story that isn't about promoting corrupt values like frantic gift giving and "being good"
As you are a well read anon, maybe you heard the story of Krampus? look that one up!
>>736403500 i think the useful bit about santa is that good things come to people who act in good ways, thats a helpful idea to reinforce because often life doesnt seem that way, in reality the greediest capitalist gets all the good stuff and the morally good people get lung cancer from coal dust
im as skeptical as you are though, i have no idea what i will tell my kids if/when that happens
i remember being one of the first kids in my class knowing that santa was fake... its a strange feeling
>>736403827 I think its natural to prefer those closer, some people have a stronger inclination (for preferring those closest) than others, we should acknowledge that and be sympathetic, but also work against it because the systemic issues that result from tribalistic thinking (ghettoization, inequality, violence) are harmful.
For instance a tax that goes to starving african kids (or malaria/hiv prevention) but has a propaganda campaign to make it seem like it helps those around us who look and think like us. Its fundamentally dishonest in a sense but it makes us feel good and it does the most good possible, even if thats not what we instinctively think we want.
>>736404343 >>736403827 but i guess this presupposes govt intervention in role you are fundamentally against.... in that case i say use your money in the manner that gives you most warm fuzzies, your advice is perfect for your worldview and others like you (not me tho)
>>736396259 A friend of my mom's from USA just raised money for treatments in Mexico by doctors that used to be in the US. They had to move there to continue their practices because certain treatments are illegal here because they were too effective at shrinking the cancer lumps. It's not some big conspiracy, just that there is more money in treating it than there is in curing it. One year later and a whole bunch of sessions and hers has shrunk by over 80% after multiple American doctors said she had a couple months to live
