'Communism' is neither "shit" nor "good" since it implies certain things that are infinitely more important than some political programmes and delusions of grandeur of certain parties. And it's certainly not about the overthrow of 'capitalism' where some radical party fighters subjugate a certain nation state, this can't last too long because of economical reality of relations of capital, which poisons all revolutionary endeavours whenever someone tries to establish 'communism in one country'. This remains and will remain in the 20th century, which is over, and there's no going back.
Nontheless, modern capitalist elites are a perverted kind of Luddites who consciously hinder mankind's development in order to preserve their political order and power.
