post something better if you don't like it
I think this drawing is the minimum creepy level
bonus points for finding a color I've never seen before though
If you don't reply with a creepy pic in this thread, ms skeltal and her army of skelingtons will turn you into pure calcium
spooky is subjective, I think ghostly images are spooky. the kind where no one noticed the ghost when the picture was taken, and it shows up when the picture is developed. not everyone thinks that's spooky
That fat cunt needs to lose some weight.. goddamn! Fucking fat ass!
They were bludgeoned and shit. Mother, two sons, and a daughter kidnapped then dumped.
What I find is really spooky is the pictures that look completely normal, but after a few minutes you find some sort of creature hiding somewhere. The thought of them watching me without me realizing it makes it a bit scary.
my favorite ghost story from being a kid was one told by my grandparents. my grandmother went camping when she was a kid, and had a dream that a ghost was by a tree near the tent. they checked in the morning, and found a skeleton in the shallow grave.
the skeleton now goes by Eugenia
Yall anons post are weak like post some good shit
You know anons if yall like this kind of shit just look for them in the >>>gif board since people would actually post some good shit, but you will have to shift through a lot of porn to find them, if there is even one in the first place.
Since we're here, I haven't been lurking in awhile and I could do with an update on the past say... years worth of new, decent creepypasta
Anything kicking around that's fresh and delicious?
there's more creepypasta on /x/, but /x/ is really slow most of the time. thursdays are still the best day for creepy threads on /b/. I haven't saved any creepypasta from here in awhile though
when I was in college as an undergrad I had married roommates with a four or five year old son. there was a spooky hallway that the adults avoided, and we would only go through the hallway with the lights on. one night we were watched a movie in the living room. a door opened in the hallway (everyone was in the living room) and before any adults could get up to check it out, the kid walked to the hallways and said
'hi, my name is ____, what's yours?'
his parents grabbed him and we went to a Dennys to get out of the house, and never spoke if it again
>Be me, six years old
>Live in old spooky house just short of a hundred years old
>Got fire places in the bedrooms n shit
>Dream about strange man standing in hallway frequently
>Wake up a few times hearing noise in the kitchen, only to find nobody there
>Aunt comes to visit one day
>I'm on the staircase, there's a stained glass window with a view into the lounge
>See shadows/movement through the window
>Assume it's Aunt and cousin
>Run down and around into the lounge
>Nobody to be seen
>Run back, aunt and cousin are in the front garden
>Actually impossible for them to be in the lounge
>Find out later the previous owner of the house went an hero.
this is such a lame ripoff of the stupid dr who episode.
Think about it in reality - the police get a 911 call saying there's a spooky statue they don't recognize in their house. They aren't going to send the swat team or the ghost busters, they are going to send people to take them in for psychiatric evaluation.
I lived in a haunted house as a kid, I'd hear footsteps from the attic above me at night. One night I had read a book of ghost stories, and was creeped out. I heard footsteps above me, and decided to check it out (it was either something or it wasn't, my parents said old houses make noises and not to worry about it). I take a flashlight (the light in the attic had a string you pulled at the top of the stairs), and went up the stairs. I get almost to the top of the stairs, and with the flashlight I see the cat perched in a windowsill. I was really relieved, a not-spooky explanation. I go downstairs, close the door behind me, and see the cat leaving my sister's room. I told myself the cat had just run past me without me noticing, but I slept with a nightlight after that.
My last (mildly) spooky true story: when I was in my early 20s (I'm a grad student nowadays) I rented a house with some friends. It was a spooky house, we got a good deal because the last two groups of tenants had moved out because it was spooky. There was a full length mirror on the insde of my bedroom door, after a few weeks I moved the mirror to the basement. I always felt like there was something reflected in the mirror that wasn't in the room. One day, I remember it being sunny and warm outside, I was making a sandwich in the kitchen when I heard a crashing noise from the basement. I went to the basement and the mirror had shattered and sent glass shards across the basement, as if it had been smashed from the back (which was against the wall). The mirror had been left by a previous tenant, they had left some furniture and various odds and ends when they left. I mentioned it to my roommates and we compared notes, and had all had similiar spooky experiences when alone in the house (one door in particular opened by itself, stuff like that).
This is my favorite type of spook. Where the only thing you see is in front of the flashlight and you suddenly encounter some weird shit right in front of you, especially scary faces.
I have a kind of boring ghost story. My roommates and I rent what's basically a three story townhouse. Over winter break, I was in the house by myself for two weeks whie the others went home. The place is a little spooky between 2-3 am, if I go downstairs to get a glass of water from the kitchen sometimes it feels like something is grabbing my arm when I'm going up the stairs. Twice (both times between 2-3 am) over winter break I was woken up by a weird noise, kind of like an off balance load in the dryer. Both times I went downstairs, didn't see anything with the dryer, but found the back door open. The back door, which I kept deadbolted locked while I was by myself.
After the second time, I figured the ghost was lonely or something so I spent five or ten minutes in the downstairs living room to keep it company. That seemed to placate the spirit. It was mean to one of my roommates after that, sometimes he would sleep on the couch because his room was too haunted to sleep in.
This is the best spooky thread I've seen in awhile. I've shared my meager supply of spooky pics and stories. I'll try to remember a bit of Alaska Native mythology that has a little bit of a spooky element.
How the Raven got black feathers.
Originally, Raven had white feathers. Raven was good friends with the sun, and spent the days in the sky with his friend the sun. The Raven was always a great trickster, but also used his trickster powers for good sometimes.
One day, a group of god/giant/monsters stole the sun and hid it in a box. (the god/giant/monsters is a word that doesn't translate well to English, either god/giant/monster are all nouns or all adjectives). Raven used his trickster powers to get past the god/giant/monsters and free the sun. Raven flew the sun back into the sky, but his feathers got burnt black in the process.
In a fun coincidence- in Greek mythology the sun god Apollo was sometimes accompanied by a raven who perched on his shoulder and gave him advice. There was no communication between ancient Alaska Natives and ancient Greeks, the two mythologies developed separately.
The spooky part of the story is speculation about the god/giant/monsters- what are they, and why did they steal the sun? The closest anology I could find is that they are basically a female equivalent of the hecatoncheires of Greek mythology, but that doesn't explain why they would steal the sun.
Are you trying to tell me that this isn't terrifying?
A few years ago, there was this random location on Google maps. I can't remember exactly where it was, but when you went there, there was something up on a 2nd story balcony that was blurred out. Which is obviously very strange. Anyway something happened in which the blurred out space became visible (I believe on street view), and what you see is what was blurred out. Never found out what it was or why it was blurred, and soon after the coordinates became completely unavailable on Google maps. That's back when we had daily spoop threads on /b/. Weird shit man
