depending on where u live and get ur pills from there is a bunch of other substances pressed in there, like speed/mdx/mda/ket/dob/mephedrone or whatever.

As previously stated ecstasy mostly refers to pills of different shapes (Rolex, Mario stars etc). These are supposed to be MDMA mixed with amphetamine, caffeine however they often contain variants of MDMA (ex MDA) and you're never sure exactly is in them. MDMA is the active chemical which makes you high, this comes in crystal/powder form if it's just pure mdma.
