As far as youth goes, I'm 32. I can be physically attracted to someone half my age; but, and this is a big but, I feel like at most there's about an eight year berth in either direction of that marker that gives someone the requisite life experience that makes them interesting to talk to: which is most of what you do with anyone, no matter the context. I think what's changed, more than anything else, is the introduction of HRT. Hormones are *huge*. I used to work at a gym, and would see what steroids would do to men, even if they knew fuck all about working out; I'd watch them as a trainer, and knew they didn't know what they were doing, but exogenous test took care of everything.
