who are you voting for and why

I'm going labour because we need to make companies pay their share and cut from the rich not the poor and vulnerable

Large companies are the staple of the econom, and forcing them to pay super high tax just means they will leave. RN after brexit we want to create a "tax haven" for companies to encourage investment in the UK

Also

I worked all day every day through school and uni to get to where I am. Why should half my money get taken away by someone who dicked around in school, and doesnt work hard, but then complains?

We have a lower corporation tax than the US, even in Corbyn's wildest dreams he couldn't raise it enough to drive companies away.

Lib Dems.

Labour have a good manifesto (apart from the nationalisation bullshit) but I don't want Diane Abbott or John McDonell in power.

On your point claming conservatives will consistenly underfund. The UK currently has a budget deficit. Therefor the conservatives are doing what we the people of the UK require, cut the deficit by saving money.

Bullshit mate.

Using your logic if they lowered the corporate tax then they would hire more employees?

No

If they lowered the tax everything would remain the same for the lower level employees, the CEOs would have bigger bonuses though.

Same works the other way, Amazon isn't going to go bankrupt if they have to pay more tax, and they certainly won't be laying anybody off. They will just have smaller profit margins by a couple of million.

Also this increased personal tax rate would be an extra 1% more than what people are paying now if you earn over 100k.

Thats like 20 quid a week, to somebody who is already fairly well off. That's fuck all mate and that extra cash will go into saving the nhs/education/police etc

But no that's too much for some rich cunts to pay, why should they have to pay more? That their hard earned money.

Let's save money by taking away kids school lunches instead, why do they deserve free food? They've never paid taxes, those filthy peasants.

Nobody has ever suggested "super high" tax for big companies.

Just a fair amount, look at what some of the biggest corporations make in the UK, then look at the tax they pay, it's fucking ridiculously low.

You've been brainwashed by the media to think that poor people on benefits are ruining the economy. The tax dodging rich folk dwarf the "scroungers" in terms of not putting in what they get out.

I completely disagree.

Why should a man with no criminal record pay more?

We should all pay the same.

Last year I paid 13k in taxes, most of this was for 'welfare'.

Why should I pay for people who have never worked, criminals, immigrants who attend English lessons (if they want to learn English they can pay for their own lessons), parents who have unplanned children?

Why should I pay for those who choose not to support themselves?
>>
>>734116970
sorry but fully qualified nurses earn £21,692 basic salary which rises as they progress to £28,180. Now I agree it is pretty shit for the amount of work they do, but if they can't live on this then they are retarded and need to budget better.

>>
>>734117393
Doesn't work that way.
Competition drives down the price.
Companies have to find areas to cut to make their product/service cheaper.
Corners get cut.
Jobs get axed.
Product/service could be shittier due to all the cuts that had to be made, and a smaller staff working on said service/product might make mistakes which makes the "value" of said product much less than it would have otherwise been.

Have you considered that the NHS is the MOST efficient healthcare system anywhere in the world. Look it up if you want, you'll be paying more for less
>>
>>734117583

Problem with nurses is they like to live like they are still at uni. They don't really know any different, they never had their own money until they get with the NHS and they still by this point have no concept of money.

So off they go, weekends full of coke and molly, big holidays and mad nights out and when its all said and done.. They have no money to show for.

Its a lack of personal responsibility again.

IRA Freedom Fighters?

As someone from an area where the Provis were very active I can speak from experience that they were not Freedom Fighters.

They killed more Catholic women and children that they did security forces.

They were nothing more than criminals with a tri colour threw around them.

Shouldn't Sinn Fein be embarassed that Alex Salmond of the Scottish National achieved a situation where the Scots could have been independant without firing a bullet or planting a bomb?

Care from the NHS is certainly not high-standard (depends on the area, but still). What you get is like the bare-minimum you should have.
>>
>>734117751

I have 4 1oz gold coins in my safe. Besides I'm not dumb enough to put myself into that situation, I've taken precautions. I'm always 3 pay checks ahead just in case for whatever reason I lose my job.

I understand the real world, I've lived in three different countries and worked countless jobs, I understand better than anyone, If I need to eat, I need to earn, and I have to be smart about it.

Also if your identity was stolen and you report it and evidence backs this up, the banks refund you and the police help you.

Your in poverty by your own choosing, you pull yourself out of it. You have to want it.

I don't know if the 6% labour number is even true (a quick Google tells me it was 4%).

The point I was trying to make is that it's rising. IMO, that's bad.
