I am skeptical about the significance of this assertion. Let's say that Muslims really do hold views that are quite "anti-western" so to speak. Let's just say. Is this significant? Do Muslims exist in significant numbers in the US or Europe? Does it matter what views they hold? I would say that today, in America, the biggest threat to western values and freedoms comes from the religious right --- evangelical Christians. They hold extremely conservative views about women's role in society and generally advocate for a highly conservative and rigid way of living. They are the American taliban. *That* is the biggest religious threat to our freedoms.
