Depends where you are. I have castle law, stand your ground, couple other good ones. As long as I don't go from self defense to a mad man hacking away like crazy after he is down (Swinging and thrusting to stop the threat and after he is down, gotta stop there. If I continue to hack away, it goes to self defense to some murder charge) and I'll be fine (Have talked to two lawyers, my own and family friend who is one, that's what they told me)

I'm a gun owner though, I rather just shoot them.

How I'm gonna take that road, is living a life the way I want to live. I'm no saint in real life, wouldn't be in that world....I get Jelly, I get mad, I feed into my hatred, jealousy and other shit to get stuff done at time. That is human nature, those feelings are the most purest thing you'll get in life.

Plus if Jedi/Sith took a approach like General Mattis or Sun Tzu did, they'd not have this long ass battle. Mattis and Tzu would study the shit out of their enemy. They'd read any battle history that faction fought, any memoirs a tribal leader, king or who ever wrote. They in a way become the enemy, are able to defeat the enemy due to that.

Like shit, picture if Palpatine trained other Sith on how to hide their aura (What ever you want to call it. Fucker was evil as fuck, hides in plain sight of the Jedi) like he did. Picture if dozens joined the ranks of the Jedi order, really fucked the shit out of it from the inside out.

There is multiple paths that one can take to reach a goal. What actions they take, will determine how long it takes them.
