What you did was illegal. Investigations into these types of incidents usually take years, and then even more time to present evidence to a grand jury and get an indictment. A warrant is then issued and one day, a task force will come get you, when you least expect it. Don't get too comfortable just because 5 or 6 years go by and you haven't been arrested yet. For all you know, you were caught up in a sting and don't know it yet, or maybe her mom looked through that girl's phone one day and handed all communications over to the local law enforcement agency. And just because you deleted what you have on your phone does not mean that it is gone. All that data is backed up for years by the service provider just in case it is ever subpoenaed.
