If in and out burger is so good, why is it only in California Arizona Nevada Utah Texas and Oregon? That is so unfair
People who have never had in and out burger thread!
I know this place that the burger is made while you watch it is in Mexico, also the fries are delicious you can ask with bacon and stuff it is oh man my mouth is been watering right now.
heard of in and out seems similar.
A couple reasons like competition, distribution and non-franchising. It IS a family company after all. Who cares anyway, we all have some sort of In-and-Out style burger joint near us.
I have Shake Shack, so In-and-Out can suck it.
In N Out is way overrated. Went to California once. Girlfriend at the time wouldn't shut up about how great it was. It was ok. Not fuckin amazing, not life changing. It was a fast food burger.
I think maybe people from there associate it with fond childhood memories or some shit. Also, everyone from Palmdale is a piece of shit
it is in Tijuana im dont remember the name but you gonna make a line like youre crossing the border actually know two great burger places, better than a restaurant.
ok now im pissed I want a burger.
All franchised burgers are shit.
The best are made by those little greek shops across the road from most franchised burger places.
For the best sammiches, you look for the little home owned Italian shops.
Why the fuck would you buy marked up franchise crap?
This is now a burger joint circlejerk thread. What is the best burger chain and why is it Shake Shack?
I live in Nevada and that place is always packed as fuck no matter what time, 20 cars in the drive thru and a line out the door. Fuck that, I'm not waiting in line for 45 minutes for a cheeseburger that is indifferent to any other "better than mcdonalds" fast food chain.
tried it and loved it, immediately after bootcamp, they were the best burgers i ever had, animal fries too man hnnnng
I take this back... how the fuck could I forget the gooks and the hockey player named burger joint!
John Anderson's. Holy fuck levels of good. Walk a mile through a foot of snow good. Great onion rings too.
Fuck, I miss living up there.
Burger Hut has the best onion rings in my experience in this city too.
I state again, fuck franchises. All of them.
I've heard some pretty good things but never been there myself, but as a Phillyfag I'm surprised that there is one closer than I thought it would be. Is it 30 minute drive worth it?
That's a good point, but the people that live in California are so used to In-N-Out that they're very specific with their orders. Instead of just getting a #1 with onion, they have to get a double-singe well done, cold cheese, extra whole grilled onion with chop chilies, etc. It ruins the simplicity that In-N-Out designed the burgers around. Plus its really fucking annoying to have to cook these awful orders.
I have an aunt in California and we got In-n-Out while I was visiting once. I was excited to try the famous west coast burger I'd heard so much about. About all I can say about it is that it was fine. Not a great burger but not trash. I don't feel like I'm missing out.
Holes in the walls are the best burger joints, hands down.
Just like those hole in the wall Italian sammich joints.
Gotta call ahead for those. Packed to the tits during lunch. Feel bad for the guy when his help isn't around.
The Burger's Priest, had the Magnum for lunch today.
I much prefer a double triple bossy deluxe, on a raft, four by four animal style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it, and let it swim.
Buddy introduced me to checkers and I hate him for it. Their shit is so good.
Apparantly everyone just hates in-n-out burger even though they have the freshest meat in the burger world. Wonder why their lines are out the door/wrapped around the store, must be because they suck.
In n out is the best chain burger. Sometimes I get the ultimate bacon cheeseburger at Jack in the box, but the best burger I've ever had was a U.S. Kobe beef burger at a place in Marin County California called Wild Fox
Torontofag here. Still haven't tried them. Have you heard of fresh burger? A lot of people are saying they're better than burgers priest and cheaper with less hipsters. Pic related.
Never heard of Fresh but they deliver via Just-Eat so I may have to check them out if they go out to Scarborough.
Another good burger place is Slab Burger on Bay and Charles.
dude I love next to in and out and if never even tried it, do you have any idea how expensive they are, for the price of one burger at in and out I could go get a whole meal at McDonald's then go get a whole meal at king, beides, let me redpill you real wuick, all fast food restraints get their beef, buns, and fries from the same place. Cows, wheat, & potatoes. Mindblown yet? your just paying for a brand and people want so desperately to belong that they bind their sense of identity to what fast food they eat, no offence, this post is proof of that on a count of this Comunity of people gathered in solidarity morning over a burger they haven't even tried
I'm midtown area. The stockyards on St.Clair west is good if you want a nice greasy elvis burger. Apparently one of the founders of burgers priest got his start by working there.
Edge? No. Taste? Yes.
Franchises fuck up a lot, and hire young people. I've legit been told that the brown wilted lettuce at one place is "just how it comes, nothing we can do about it".
The greek hole in the wall I mentioned?
I've watched the man pick tiny imperfections out of his shredded lettuce container. Meticulous with quality. Which is why I keep going back every chance I get.
Moment of silence for Amerifags
I should know where that is, as I use St Clair to get out towards Bathurst on the regular...
But if you're out towards Casa Loma, go down to dupont, and a bit west towards Christie.
Vinnie's Panini. Hole in the wall, real easy to miss. Across(ish) from a Sobey's.
Best steak on a bun you'll ever eat. Vincenzo is a great guy too.
Just avoid his lunch rush. You'll be waiting a while for your food if you don't call in advance.
Braum's and Five Guys are shit tier, btfo faggot.
I live literally 2 hundred yards from one and I fucking can't stand it. Only the animal style fries and shakes are even worth getting burgers are meh. like 6/10 overall quality has COMPLETELY been on decline since 2009 so they can fuck right off but you know, normies don't know what the fuck is good so they'll line up at the trough anyways. fucking normies... *reee's internally*
The best fast food burger is the Spangles Sourdough Mushroom & Swiss.
Well that's no help!
Will still have to do a drive by at some point though....
Figure this gem out. Even though it will be taking place of my weekly Vinnie's lunch... which I may not be able to give up so easily.
100% of the time if you're looking for a god-tier burger, you're looking for a local joint, very likely a hole in the wall. Which means this is a quest you must take for yourself. /b/ cannot help you
i just got to this thread, but YOU FAGS JUST GOT REKT nice post anon
far as i can tell, In and Out is sort of like rap music : it's only good because "cool" people tell you it is
At first In n Out is amazing but it gets boring, but their fries are amazing and I love them
>mfw using franchise names like the mcrib for all wrestling mat smothered in bbq & vinegar abominations
Even triple 7s can't protect you from the foul fungus.
it means you eat it too much.. I lived in the Bay Area for years and never once tired of it but I also went to many other places
ever since I moved to Canada in N out is one of the places I miss most
well at least he's not full-nigger
5 guys is too expensive though. There was an AMAZING burger place near me (before the owners had a huge fight) that made bigger and better burgers for like $5 less a meal. They had 5* on yelp after hundreds of reviews. Can't believe those assholes closed. It wasn't the money, they literally sold out of food every day.
>mfw difference is patty melts have flat bread and most fast food burger buns come out flattened
I would go once or twice every couple months, i guess for me its that they have a small menu. Five Guys let's me choose anything I want so I can always change it up. Other places offer different variations
>inb4 try their secret menu
Its still the same ingredients, it'll feel the same
>patty melt = sourdough bread, patty, swiss cheese and fried onions (optional tomato)
>burger= sesame bun, patty, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, condiments.
Get on the God tier level of burgers and try a Whataburger, you fucking sheltered slobs.
>mfw people think adding a salad to a burger makes it better
It's all about the beef.
San Diego fag here. Born and raised on In n Out. Love it. Miss it dearly
Live in Seattle now and have recently had the Katsu Burger. My life is forever changed
i'm in a agreement with this guy
people with preference some burger over other burgers generally have absolutely zero knowledge of cooking, flavor pairings, ingredients, etc.
in other words, they're fat slobs who would starve to death, or at least be in shape, if mommy and daddy Corporate America didn't tell them what to eat on their burger and give them a drive through to bring it home and drool on themselves in 5 o'clock traffic as they ate it
a fucking burger is a fucking burger, especially when it comes to fast food
you want real variety in cuisine? learn how to fucking boil water you shameful man-children
>12 yr old palate plain eating faggot can't handle complex flavor profile and textures typical autism symptom I know shhh it's okay watch your cartoons I'll cut the corners off your pb&j and make sure there's no veggies on your burger sweetheart.
my chest hurts from looking at that
>complex flavor profile
>lettuce and tomato
dafuq are you on?
lifelong St. Louis'an here
Sonic and Jack are the 2 best joints around, though i have a slight preference for the Jack, but will awlays go to sonic if i want to just stuff my face recklessly
the Jumbo Jack with cheese has never ever failed me
good lettuce and tomato taste great and elevate a minced beef sandwich to a whole new level.
Whatever shredded iceberg and unripe tomato you've been eating has seriously tainted your opinion.
The only thing that makes in n out good is how cheap it is. I spent a month in california a couple of years ago expecting to literally be cumming for a month straight because of how much californians hype up in n out
It's good, but it's not fantastic. If it were a contest of straight up taste, I'd personally go to five guys every time. But the fact that the food is cheap as shit would make me inclined to visit in n out more often.
Also the fries are boring as fuck, people are like "Oh get the animal style fries" but I mean I wouldnt have to get the animal style fries if the regular fries tasted like literally anything.
If youve been to five guys or even wendys, you've probably had a better burger than in n out unless your local chains are dogshit, in which case a local in n out would probably also be dogshit. So don't feel bad.
Which of the delightful fast food places that we've been discussing have quality good tasting lettuce and tomato?
Bonus points if you know which one ships the lettuce and tomato whole, not pre-shredded & canned.
>no steak 'n shake
Come on guys, I expect better of you.
>See hamburger thread
>Click on thread
>"Literally mcdonalds tier"
>No macdonald love
>Peasant food venues like whataburger and In N Out praised
>The clown is not happy
>He is not being represented
>No one is mclovin it
Why even live
meh, the fries ruin it for me honestly, but the atmosphere is good
i will admit that the Patty Melt at S'N'S was a staple throughout my adolescent years. spent a lot of time in the 24 hour ones during those times, socializing, smoking cigs, etc
Luckily the shakes are pretty filling. You pretty much have to get one or else you end up ordering like 3 burgers. (Or at least I do because I'm a fat fuck with no self control.)
Lol at all of the vegan faggots complaining about a greasy burger
It's a hamburger. it is fried in fucking grease. Also, if you didn't know, there's fat in the burger which renders out when you cook it.
Either way it's going to have grease on it you fucking retard, unless it's something like a gross mcdonalds frankenburger.
You're not really eating a burger to be healthy, are you?
rank 1 in charging you top-tier prices for mid-grade food, i agree with that
went to that yuppie shit hole once and paid 9 bucks for a 3, maybe 4 dollar fish sandwich
on this website, fucking absolutely.
Local hidden gems that charge like 12 dollars for a burger can literally suck my cock.
But if any of you fags are ever in the Upper Florida Keys and feel like paying a stupid amount of money on food, go to M.E.A.T. and get an inside out juicy lucy with their truffle fries and a birch beer.
I'm Scottish. AZ = best state. no coastal snowflake bullshit but tech work. won't catch AZ being Dem. great restaurants and bars in Scottsdale. skiing in winter. stone's throw from Vegas for trashy part time. close to cali if you like that shit
As a foreigner touring your lands:
Wendys: Delicious, Id eat spicy chicken sandwiches til I die.
In-and-Out: was alright, went double double animal style first time, good fires.
McDonalds; Whatever, same everywhere.
5 Guys: is fucking delicious, bag full of fries along with a tasty burger
I'm here in Orange County, and the casualfags/socialfags LOVE in-n-out. It's fine, decently priced burgers/fries/shakes, but don't listen to the califags overhyping it.
Idk I never had it.
One opened up in Los Angeles, so I went with my dad, but the line was out to the end of the block with yuppies and hipsterfags waiting in line, so we drove back to where we lived and ate at Slater's 50/50.
I drank watermelon lemonade, what does that make me :>
live in san diego, tons of scots here in the dockyards. that coastal snowflake shit is on the internet, you really don't encounter sjws in real life. great place to live honestly.
I'm the scot you replied to. I was living between London and Paris for work when the company asked me to move here. Everyone scoffed at the prospect but I will NEVER go back to either of this shitholes. Been to 9 states (I'm not counting the ones I've spent a night or two in a hotel passing through) and counting in the US in 2 years and have been soaking up the differences of those I've been to and those I haven't yet.
AZ = best state. To me it's the last great American state. Enough liberalism not to be picking on poor people for no reason, enough Conservatism not to be giant crying vaginas. Good people.
>All these people who have never had All American
I almost pity you all.
