Me again. You plebs don't know anything about film except maybe the Kubrick fan.
One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest was the best Jack Nickleson, though.
I lied bitches. Foreign films are fun, especially this one.
Everyone I talk to hates this film; personally, it's my favorite.
Jarmusch may be entry level but this film certainly isn't. I just can't stop tonight. I'm on a mofuggin roll here bitches.
>overrated, pretentious, boring, and slow
Millennial cumstain detected. Stick to comic book movies and Transformers.
You know, something more your level.
Are you kidding? It's possibly the most disjointed film ever made
Every scene of "Hate is baggage blah blah blah" is followed by niggers acting like violent monkeys.
If I remember right there were at least three scenes of unprovoked black on white violence that didn't make the final cut. So much chimping out they couldn't fit it all in
Kinda bad really, though the main character's development was good.
It's got a thin veneer of mealy mouthed nigger loving jew bullshit but overall the movie does nothing but justify racism.
They even have the Jewiest guy they could find sitting down for dinner across from the skinhead whining about "But, racism and slavery goyim"
retard needs his 'splosions and titties
Also: Can anyone that's into movies like this recommend an old creature/slasher movie? I've got nothing to do tonight.
Not that guy but anyone who tries to pretend 2001 is this great thought provoking movie is just trying to sound smart.
It's not, it was shit
YOU'RE AN INANIMATE FUCKIN' OBJECT!
That's for John Lennon, you Yankee fuckin' cunt!
The movie is better on a second viewing...
But anon's right though. 2001 is boring, slow, a tad bit pretentious, and inconsequential drivel for about 75% of the movie. That doesn't mean it was bad, but it is genuinely overrated.
Far from Kubrick's best, and it's generally given a loftier pedestal than it deserves.
The book, which was written at the same time as the screenplay and script, is way better, and touches on so many things that Kubrick couldn't bring to the big screen, so he compromised.
The reality about 2001 is that it was an artistic carbon dating of horizon filmmaking in the 60's, and it's aged.
To be fair, I enjoyed the book for ACO better than the movie. Yeah towards the end of Apocalypse Now it went haywire. Still good though, and has stunning effects and good one liners.
"Charlie don't surf"
Fucking garbage movie, Seven Psychopaths some how managed to be worse with a better premise.
>Thinks 2001 was shit
>Likes In Bruges
Sorry your brain can't comprehend a true cinematic achievement.
I liked 2001: a Space Odyssey, but I was kind of in a trance when I saw it because of massive sleep deprivation. I hear drugs work, too.
The Casablanca of culturally appropriated gookmagic.
>B-b-but the b-book-
Fuck off, we've heard it a million times. I don't give a billionth of a fuck if the book is the second fucking coming. If your movie sucks, it sucks. Carrying a massive "read the book" asterisk around is just putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound.
I'll admit it, the movie is definitely not for everybody. That's why there's more than one type of wine.
Well, if that's the case, sign me up!
>movies that signal to the world you're still in high school thread.
fixed that fer ya. now get out of here with that emo whiny retarded trash.
>Cuckoos nest was the best Jack Nickleson
you're not wrong... but you are wrong.
On par with most the suggestions itt
Malick's last great film but I'll be damned if it's not one of the greatest movie of all time
>who just lucked into everything
I kinda took it as he was kind to a fault and that's what got him in his situations. and he was too dumb to realize what was going obviously.
>for three decades
which would be a fine film if it didn't take that long to watch.
I'm not even trying to get a last word in, just pointing out how insecure you are to imply only people watch 2001 to appear smart.
Your post is ironic. Go get your last word in.
Greatest horror film ever made
>The highlight of Emilio Estevez' career.
thats what happens when you don't want to go 'hollywood' and change your name. 'course aids is apparently what happens when you do.
why dont you try opening the book you sack of shit
Best thing aids boy ever did
And nice trips.
look retard, clue is BASED ON an actual board game. and has nothing to do with the board game in the movie. jumanji is BASED on a book, that is centered on a board game.
go back to school nigger.
I'm not even a weeb, but I really liked this movie if I remember correctly. Ending sucked though.
Not god-tier, but I think it deserves a little more attention then it gets.
I agree, the ending was kinda half-assed in my opinion.
How's high school OP?
My personal fav
>I smiled at the death of a troubled person who never had a bad word to say about anyone
Here's a rare gem I'm sure most of you kids haven't even heard of
On my list to watch
pretty shit compared to the first
Hands-down one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces ever produced.
Best B movie I've ever seen. Peter Weller steals that shit
yea i mean i watched it like 10 times but it's not mindfucky in the same way as those more "abstract" movies are. once you figure out the puzzle, or at least think you have some understanding of it, it stops being mysterious
Pic related is a bit obscure but i bet a lot of you anons would love it
The best film George Lucas has ever worked on
Hands down the finest performance of Chris Walken's career.
Fans of 2001 and A Clockwork Orange should like this one.
Remember, it's not boring, it's "atmospheric". And if you don't like it, you're an idiot who watches Transformers.
>David Fincher and Coen Broes fedora tier
Nice meme bro.
Have an upvote
And my axe
only for 75% of his movie then he tards them out
did u notice that django unchained was just blazing sadles and boss nigger put together
