ITT: Your age, when you first discovered 4chan
Was when I was a freshman in highschool.
I just realized I've lived more of my life with 4chan than without it
> lowest number from my b folder, ca 2009
just came back after a multi-year hiatus, actually.
Youtube Poop era brought me here. I discovered all shit I was watching through social networks were born here
Nowadays, when someone shows me a shitty pic or vid I already saw it several months before.
Also goodbye to conventional porn, hello milky tits and horny amateurs spied.
So, thanks 4chan
You and I are twins.
A lot of changes since then, one that stands out is seeing the word EPIC go from being normal jargon to cringe.
Also the addition of captcha's and the changes to the front page as well as the huge volume of traffic the site gets these days.
First visit was around 2008 because my friend told me about 4chan. He was all hyped about the porn and the gore stuff. I did not visit 4chan alot until 9gag became a cancerous shithole filled with 10 year old bitches. I visit 4chan on a regular basis since I was 16
But I never posted anything till around mid last year. I love it.
I first discovered 4chan early 2015. I was playing CSGO with some panda fetish faggot and he hooked me up with some panda porn.vAsked where he got it from, said 4chan. Only started posting and not lurking yesterday
>today's 29th bday
pic for anyone who says this board got worse over the years
99.4% of the time lurking
been here like 2200 hours
99.98% this has been a waste of time
This is the first time I've actually posted in a thread on /b/ in literally years.
/Pol/ is the closest to old /b/ imo
was looking for hentai, found out about /b/ from browsing hentai forums
earliest thing I remember here was the habbo raids (didn't participate because I was new and came here for porn)
shit's fucking depressing that I've been here so long
>one that stands out is seeing the word EPIC go from being normal jargon to cringe.
this one makes me sad
First time I came on was when I was 9 in 2008. My brother forgot to close tabs on the family computer. I saw a guy get hit by a car and felt sick so I left. I started lurking regularly when I was 11
Got my first computer, started from nothing, I didn't really even know the difference between an os and programs where, gotta love technologically incompetent parents, "don't go on youtube, you'll give my monitor viruses", "don't buy things on xbox live, they will steal my credit card info".
I remember /f/ being much healthier back then.
>her brother is a powernerd. acne, braces, unbrushed teeth, argumentative about everything under the sun
>hes into /b/
>gets her into /b/
>she likes the raids, she shows me
>ignores the porn
>back then, 'questionably legal teens' was a /b/ staple thread
>i came back for those threads
>also bachelor frog and success kid, those too.
13, 2008. Oh how the times have passed anons...
i first discovered yotsuba i was 15 in 2006
then promptly left after the boston fail party irl raid
the scientology raids fucked this place up
moots still a faggot not gunna get banned either cause mods are fags
do you remember when Kanya trolled taylor swift, fuck the site went berserk for about 4 days.
Everyone was calling kanye the king of /b/ instead of the district 9 "fookin prawns" guy.
soooo many memes..
I just lurked for a few years through all the epic shit just started posting in recent years.
24 now, way back in 06 I used to come to fap.
Mfw nothings changed
God bless the rest of you sick fucks
I think it was around 2008 so i would've been 8 or 9. Only started posting within the last 4 or 5 years though.
>started on 4chan in 2004
>heard about it during anime club in highschool
>/b/ would hurt young girls and doxx them
>finding strange forbidden things in the dark recesses of the internet together to exploit them
When I look at the /b/ frontpage now I shake my head. Facebook pic dumps and boipussy threads. Old /b/ would have never allowed any of this.
It's all degenerates and normies now.
I was 18 in 2006 so yeah..../b/ is shit now of course. But it's MY shit.
I dont care cp. I spent hours browsing and reading stuff. Asking for advice and giving advices. People had more intelligence than the 12 years olds nowadays. Today I only can spend like 15 minutes searching for some good threads, but I have to realize there are very few and very rare.
