Ask a guy that lives in his car and wanders the states for literally no reason except boredom anything.
If you're bored it's cause you're boring.
What's your real reason for travelling? What is your subconscious distancing itself from?

It ain't a bad way of living, just sucks sometimes like life always does. I get money when I fly my sign asking for gas, I usually walk away with 50$ after an hour of standing. Once you live without any obligations but food and gas it really changes your worldview
Yeah that would be interesting. The way my life is I might as well be doing that. I'm more just in a sort of meaningless limbo and looking at the same old crap day after day. I barley even get beyond a 5 block radius lately.
Life is like that fort a lot of us these days. I tried to find someone to settle down with but it didn't work out and now here I am middle aged unemployed no real useful skills and an alcoholic. Oh and no friends left either. Hence the temptation to just drift.
That right there is true. I've avoided that since I broke up with my last 6 years of online dating nightmares with 3 different gfs. It just leaves you exhausted and you think what was the point in all that then?
I may be trying to be overly metaphysical for the sake of 4chan, but what I am trying to get at is the nature of non-expectation.
Your out there, and you may have a lockable door, but you are in it man. You have to engage, how you enact is what shapes the experience.
Well gas for wherever I decide to go and food when I'm hungry. I hold a sign asking for a gallon of gas outside a station with my gas jug at my feet and people throw money at me regardless. Everything is provided for me, now when my car breaks-then ill be fucked
Deviant Art, got it
no need to be a bitch
Where are you in Michigan? It has its nice areas but alot of it is jack shit, especially cities like Flint, I'd suggest rolling through Grand rapids it's pretty decent city. The northwest costal side is actually quite beautiful along with the upper peninsula also.
Ha ha ha. Im saving up money right now to do this very exact thing. Im gonna by a mini rv though! Also, if you got a membership to planet fitness you have a shitter and a shower in almost every state.
Aw this gave me the feels.
How to you deal with being cold so often? Just acclimated over time, I'm assuming? Do you miss being warm at night?
Like, when you're traveling, life comes up to you in peculiar, unexpected ways. You then have more inclination to experience it whole heartedly, without presumption.
Contrast to when one spends the days going through the motions, relying on expectations or assumptions.
Nah bro, never got used to it. Got me a nice ass sleeping bag. Only rated for 20 degrees but I got a good blanket I use too. I've been comfortable in here when it's 10 outside
Good thing to take note on thanks
Damn, well I'll take a drink to that. You're a trooper for toughing out some harsh nights I imagine.
Do you own a larger vehicle or a smaller one? Idk if you already specified that in an earlier post
Hahaha having the shits sucks when you are traveling
An 02 gmc envoy, mid sized and folding back seats. I could get an air mattress in the back of I didn't have so much shit, I sleep on the passenger seats cuz my back is fucked up and it's so used to these horrible seats
Sleep tight, street light.
Wow and people give you gas money and stuff. I would tell you to bug off with your gas jug. You must be white because the cops would be all over a black or Mexican guy doing that.
Can't figure out how to make it creatively? Good. More for me, sucka
When people get bored when alone, it's because they are in bad company.
sleep tight , street light %_%
