Huntsmen spider. Either catch it and put it outside or leave it be. They're chill and catch bugs for you.

>>

Yeah, I dunno what that is, but not a huntsman, that's for sure.

When all else fails, use a sheet of paper and a cup to catch it and just throw it outside.
>>
>>718994112
I would call it a garden spider... and be very fucking careful. Kill it with fire

>>718994212

it does look similar to this.. what are Australian spiders that looks similar?
>>
>>718993773
>Cockroaches are actually some of the cleanest bugs out there
but they're contagious and have disgusting bodies
Some of them fly
Slap them really hard, and pus comes out
When you think they're dead, they're still moving their spiky legs
If that's not bad enough, they can communicate with each other through antennas
They can also survive nuclear explosions
I cringe every time

Which part of australia are you in?
Also I just read an article about australian spiders you can meet in your house. A general rule of thumb is that if they are crawling up walls or ceilings, they're not really that dangerous.
>>
OP here. There is a daddy long legs in here too? Do you reckon they're having a stand off?

East. It's chilling on the roof

OP here. I'm almost certain it is a Domestic House Spider
>>
>>718996533
White tails actually have a decent poison that causes your skin to rot. The wound site is very difficult to contain and people have lost whole limbs for what looks like a harmless little spider.

Not saying that is a white tail, but dont take any risks

There are at least 2 dozen species of spider that will ruin your week. None are really fatal, just permanently disfiguring.

And snakes in australia are completely fatal without medical intervention.

So is every day a gamble that you're gonna get rekt?

Or is it only in certain places?

If you chop up a tree and leave the logs in your back garden for a week or so, is it gonna have deadly spiders and snakes and jellyfish in it when you come back to it?

Wrong. I thought the same at first but it's just reduculously skinny which makes it look weird. You can tell by the shape of its carapace and the proportional size of its legs as well as its large chelicera.

I live on the urban fringe. Lost 3 dogs to snakes. And the reason people dont die from snakebite is because we did pretty well removing them from urban areas...and ambulances carry anti-venom

Snakes are rare in the city. They mostly range away from wetlands but in general you will never see them.

Spiders are fucking everywhere, but less dangerous
