Also, Tor isn't a be-all, end-all solution. You still have to be smart about your browsing. Disable Javascript and don't post PII. Get an OS that respects your privacy and study the fuck out of encryption.

I use it a lot, but only with my own custom network and a VPN running over it. Basically, I access the Tor network, it accesses my custom network, it accesses a VPN (ZPN or Betternet) and then it accesses the web. I use .city onion extension for .onion webpages because 'malready behind Tor.

I use tor to get some fine cp.
