Can't remember the exact name of the condition but i have a genetic fuck up in my eyes.
The iris is around 2 times thicker and contains slightly more melanin. It looks almost entirely black without proper lighting and the density means no striations are visible as in most eyes. Related to it i have slightly thicker retinal tissue but in each eye an area where it split slightly off towards my nose where a small cyst type tissue has developed.
As a result I can't see my nose and i have a 5% chance of the cyst causing retinal detachment throughout life.
Oddly i have better adjustment between light and dark areas than most people and better nightvision overall but a horrible myopic prescription.
