In response to the various ongoing arguments, I've smoked and taken edibles a few times. It was neat I guess but overall it isn't something I feel the need to do regularly.

A few people I had known for years started heavily using weed and it completely changed them, from my perspective for the worst. Guys who used to be motived and intelligent became apathetic towards anything that didn't involve getting high and they seem like they lost quite a few IQ points somewhere. Even when sober they just don't seem to process things quickly.

I've also known people who spent every waking hour high as fuck but were still perfectly functional and motivated.

Seems to me the difference is that some people make getting high an end in itself while others use it as a means to an end. The former are degenerate worthless shits, and the latter are normal guys.

When I baked up my first batch of vaped bud firecrackers recently to see if they were a viable way to double dip with my new vape, I put in probably a good gram and a half in each. Since I was only vaping at 385 until that point my spent weed was very CBD heavy, and when I ate one to test them out I ended up ruining my Sunday and had to spend a good 6+ hours in my bed trying desperately not to die.

Been eating tiny amounts of those same edibles for a few days now and they really do just mellow you out and help with pain and anxiety a lot. Crazy to think a massive does could make me feel like I was on death's door.
