Anecdotally, I switch from 5 cigs a day to vaping starter mod. Vaped waaay more than I ever smoked (half a bottle a day @ 3mg) and around a year into it I noticed I was getting a tight chest and pressure around my upper abdominal. Quit vaping and swapped to nicotine gum and symptons have stopped.

I think in theory vaping should be better, but since it was so easy to vape anywhere (car, room etc) the amount of nicotine I ingested was much higher which caused the issues. Plus half a bottle of vegetable oil / menthol vapor entering into your lungs a day probably isnt good.

weed makes you feel good, feeling good is nice, you typically want to feel good all the time, if weed is your only source of that sensation (very common in todays world) you're gonna want to smoke a lot of weed and you're gonna feel pretty bad when you dont.
