I didn't really appreciate Reykjavík, it's a pretty boring city (except during saturday night).

You should definitely go to places like þingvellir, skaftafell, þorsmork, husavik, höfn and vik (it's always rainy there though)
nyidalur is awesome too, but a bit far from everything. myvatn is a must-do (hverfjall crater and dimmuborgir are amazing)
concerning the waterfalls, i'd recommand Dettifoss / Selfoss (not the city) or Seljalandsfoss

well, if you have a car, place won't be a problem, and you would need to deal with food anyway. it's not hard to fing good campsites, they are literaly everywhere, and so big that even in July you can find a place where to put your tent.

but camping isn't mandatory, I heard there are good guesthouses in some of the cities (especially in Reykjavik ofc), and youth hostels have a good reputation too

Hell, even if you were to get a new Vette, Challenger of Mustang and max options, you would pay less than for a basic Ferrari fresh off the floor, and you could blow the doors off of one easily with the Vette, maybe the challenger after it picks up enough speed. That boat takes a while to crank.
