"The term “Alt Right” is not the only term used to describe this movement. Some of its adherents use other, similar phrases, such as the “New Right” and the “Dissident Right.” They all refer to the same race-infused brand of extreme conservatism."
Alt-right doesn't mean anything. Used to be all the Tea Party and antiestablishment types that got clamped down on by Obama and the IRS but when the Dems lost the election it suddenly meant everyone Hilary called the basket of deplorables and then they threw in hard core racists like the KKK. The Dems and main stream media created a resurgence of those hard core racists by shutting down any meaningful conversation about race, immigration and feminism. When there isn't meaningful conversation about these thing all you're left with is the extremist on either side. That's how we got left with BLM roots and a rebirth of assholes like the KKK.
>>717560271 It's the left's boogeyman, kinda like Baba Yaga. Also like the boogeyman, it doesn't exist. People were just tired of a potential Clinton dynasty. In 4 years though, Chester Cheetos won't be re-elected, by a "yuge" margin, because they're gonna find out he is just as bad as his buddy Hillary.
Truethfully? They are Just a bunch cunts who believe in only a white nation. No race mixing. Whites shouldn't fuck blacks, Asians, Hispanic. They don't believe in protecting the environment. Pollute away for profit. Women are to obey men. They should not have many rights according to alt right.
>>717560788 The Klan has been a honeypot for decades. Like Anonymous, they're nothing but Feds. But, you're mostly correct.
Back in the 90's, during the usenet days, alt.right was a channel for those who didn't like the direction the neocons were going. It ended up being a mixture of /x/k/pol/ type survivalists/conspiracy theorists/separatists. The people were tangentially aligned with white supremacist groups because they could get weapons.
It's the same thing today. Generally, personally conservative people who just want left alone to live their lives. They don't care what the faggots with blue hair do, but they don't want to be forced to have blue hair and suck dick.
>>717560788 I forgot to throw in that the alt-right can also mean anyone who doesn't get their politics from main stream media. Nothing scares the establishment both Dems and Repubs more than the internet educating people about the things they don't want to talk about. Voters are so much easier to control when you have just a few cable and broadcast news sources to set the agenda. Fake news is the buzz word they are using to demonize those who can read and learn what's going on. Those that are saying 'the real issue is what's going on over here's now have a platform that reaches millions and it sacred the hell out of them.
>>717560271 bullshit invented by liberal plant spencer in order to discredit antiestablishment opposition now the favorite go to excuse for claiming "trump is raysis" fuck spencer and fuck """"""""""""""""""""""altright""""""""""""""""""""""""
It's a bunch of whingey nazi bastards who are butthurt because people have started telling them they're assholes, and they want to be able to discriminate against whoever they hate this particular decade.
They claim it's freedom of speech, but it's not a freedom of speech issue when someone doesn't want to listen to your bullshit.
If they have no power, they blame minorities, and if they do have power, they fire up those hatreds in the intrests of keeping that power.
Don't get me wrong, the left and liberalism have a lot of shit they need to sort out to be a valid idea, but for some reason the undecided have concluded that being ignorant in the opposite direction is a better idea.
>>717560271 A catch-all buzzword used by leftists and ancient republicans to disparage any conservative who isn't a republican by insinuating that they are a neo-nazi by lumping them all in the same category. The left is threatened by a resurging conservatism brought on by their nonsense and republicans are threatened by their fading relevancy so it makes sense for both sides to accuse non-republican conservatives of espousing one of the few ideologies that is currently politically and socially untenable.
It started as a group of young classical conservatives who were rebelling against the republican party for being everything except for conservative. People who were tired of religious rhetoric and authoritarian regimes.
Small government and fiscal responsibility based philosophies allow for any type of group to exist - which allows for neo nazis and black panthers to co exist without government involvement. This is known as freedom - the MSM media is threatened by it so they just call them all bigots. As they always do whenever they don't have an argument. Racist, sexist, blah blah buzzwords.
If only classical liberals would create a similar movement. The entire world is getting tired of their bullshit "social justice" thinly veiled thought control marxism. The left has been taken over by people who don't even have liberal philosophies.
>>717566835 When videos of their conferences is just a stream of straight up Nazi rhetoric the I think its fair to call them bigots. "Thought control Marxism" is fucking retarded. Back in the old days before people came up with language to help them justify being assholes, it was just called being respectful.
>>717567227 These conferences that you speak of don't exist. There is no central organizational body behind the alt right. You could be speaking of actual nazis, a libertarian anarchocommunistic planned community, a Koch brothers entrepreneurial investment meeting, or literally other anti-establishment group. That's the point. The alt right is just a way to describe people who are against the republican party especially, and the establishment in general. The MSM is twisting it into a buzzword to discredit anti establishment movement. The same thing SJW thought control rhetoric always does. Change the definition of words to match your agenda - literally what cultural marxism is always doing. Literally out of 1984. Take Racism for example. Do you remember what it used to mean? Or do you honestly think it is "Privilege+Power" minorities are unable of being racist? Nah, it doesn't matter, just call me racist for thinking that blacks are capable of being racist. Never make an argument.
Besides, you fucks call everything nazi rhetoric and everything is literally hitler all day long. I can't even take that seriously anymore. I can make great points all day long and back them up and you'll just be like "sounds like a nazi".
>>717567227 >their conferences is just a stream of straight up Nazi rhetoric >One visible faggot is a nazi, so every conservative that can't or won't call themselves a republican must be a nazi too. Absurd. It's like talking about anonymous as a single entity and as having a single set of beliefs rather than a common one: something is drastically wrong with the government as it stands. Everyone gets lumped in with the shittiest group that is currently on the media's radar but only the uninformed or fools believe it.
>>717567729 I think you're getting 4chan trolls making funny tumblr accounts mixed up with what the left actually thinks. You do know that almost all that privileged cisgender non binary stuff comes from here right? I'm deep with the left in the inner city colleges, I've never heard a single person say blacks can't be racist. We make fun of safe spaces just as much as you cunts like talking about them. You pricks are just sheltered. You're built up your world view from places like /pol/ and you're in so deep now you don't recognize how fucked up that is.
>>717568342 Let me use your "argument" against you. You're so sheltered by your own particular brand of brainwashing and anecdotal evidence that you actually have no idea what you're talking about. See? Not an argument. Also, way to completely ignore all the other points.
Never mind the overwhelming evidence and general sociological trends. Never mind the fact that Hillary lost 100% because of identity politics. Never mind that race relations are at their worst now since the civil rights movement. Never mind the fact that the business I work at literally has gender neutral bathrooms and safe spaces for women only. It's all just 4chan trolling right? Definitely no way it's actually happening. But if you try to talk about it you're a bigot and literally Hitler - no discourse allowed.
Crybabies upset that people frown on them calling other people "niggers" and "faggots". Folks who don't understand that in the "good old days" life was way worse by every possible metric for everyone, but was so much better because you were allowed to be a shitheel to minorities.
>>717568974 How many millions of extra votes did she need to not lose? Identity politics had nothing to do with it, it was an outdated electoral system. All the shit in those lib hate threads you use to justify your world view, I fuckin' made half of it for a laff! But yeah, get triggered because bathroom signs are obsolete in some places. Who gives a shit if someone wants a safe space? You snowflakes are the ones getting the most triggered about it. What is the end game you're terrified of?
>>717569716 Was it 3 million extra votes? Drag out the old "they were all illegals" argument so you can skulk off when you can't explain how someone not on the electoral roll or registered to vote can vote.
>>717569904 Easy there tiger. The whole point of the electoral college is to protect the country from the tyranny of urban centers. If only a handful of states get to make all the decisions there isn't much incentive for the rest to stick around. For some reason I haven't seen anyone arguing that the senate is an outdated concept when the electoral college is nothing by comparison in terms of being an equalizer.
>>717570731 America is not a Democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic. This was done specifically for a variety of reasons. Limiting the federal government's power and protecting the states was incredibly important to the founding fathers, as they all felt very strongly against authoritarian governments. They were also concerned with voter knowledge/interest disparity. Balancing voting power is more important than 1 person 1 vote, and they were attempting to do it in the least racist/classist/sexistblahblah objective unbiased way as possible. Think about it for a little while with an open mind, at least for the sake of philosophical reasoning. Whether you agree with the electoral college or not, it serves an interesting purpose.
>>717569519 Safe space is doublethink for segregation. I, personally, give a shit when the government tells certain people where they can and can not go based on their skin color or genitals. If you were actually a liberal, you would too.
>>717570731 America has never been and hopefully never will be a pure democracy. It's a constitutional republic, that's one thing that currently isn't wrong with it. It might not agree with idealistic children coming out of elementary school but you'll grow as a person. And I'm not the one hiring or encouraging useful idiots to throw fits and loot Nike stores, nor was I when Obama was elected for the second time, Bush either time, or anyone before that. Shit doesn't always go your way but that doesn't mean you huff, stomp, and demand the best things about our system be torn down because one election didn't go your way. The system is extremely resilient to change, Euros might call us backwards for it but at the same time we aren't the ones racing towards a cliff.
>>717571585 Yet you want toilets segregated by gender? Because non gendered is something something authoritarian evil? Its a ridiculous overreaction. Safe spaces barely exist at all in real life. Its something the right won't shut the fuck up about because it makes the left look weak.
There are lunatics and extremists on all points of the political spectrum, and the "alt right" are a reflection of that.
They claim that they're sick of being told how to think and getting called bigots, sexist or rasicst, but the reality is real leftists, in my experience, (in b4 sheltered) simply ask people to think harder about the things they say and do, and if it's not useful or fair, or doesn't serve a point other to degrade someone, sometimes in unexpected ways
But the end of the day, there's a lot of stupid extremists for the left too, who use those terms to bully and intimidate, yet they're the ones the right and groups to base their entire views of the left on.
>>717560271 Go to /pol/, glp, brietbart on any given day of the week and you will find out. Basically, cuckservatives with puritan ideals, who are also usually hardcore bible-thumping morons who want a safe space for white people. I don't believe in any of that shit, neither for minorities or whites. In other words, if you claim yourself to be alt-right, you're an autistic, pseudo-skinhead who worships the ground trump walks on, and would love to have his dick deep in their ass, while putin face-fucks them.
>>717571829 That might be your interpretation of what happened this election, it was the exact opposite last election. It's almost as though people have differing opinions and our society was developed in such a way as an attempt to be as fair as possible and avoid dictatorships.
>>717572182 I don't want toilets segregated by gender at all, actually. I'm a cisgendered man, and I've been dating an FTM trans man for 6 years. But here's the thing, I don't believe it's the government's place to dictate it, period. I don't believe that the movement will stop there, and I want people to stop asking the government to police behavior. The only thing that ever comes of it is less rights for the individual and more power for the system. Thus, I'm alt-right, and even though I'm in love with a transman and believe the government shouldn't have the ability to police marriages period, you will still call me a sexist racist bigot probably. Let society itself police behavior and stop demanding that the government take care of people you don't like. Leave everyone alone that you don't agree with and live your lives the way you want to - this is probably the core tenet of alt right beliefs.
>>717574844 No, a manly man. Not a boyish chick, and not fat at all. But being on testosterone, the fucking best performance enhancer we have, makes every workout he does kick ass. I'm actually kind of jealous.
Your comment is very typical of an SJW though. Claim someone else is the bigot and then say something transphobic and hate filled about overweight people and personally attack the other person while not even addressing a single point that they made. Now take the moral high ground and feel good about yourself for 5 seconds and blame the rest of the world for all of your own self inflicted problems that you refuse to fix. See, I can do it too. Aren't we partaking in intellectual discourse and improving one another's lives?
>>717574835 Well, if you remember your history, this was a major point of contention at the time as well. The founding fathers had to draft the constitution and get a bunch of opinionated people to agree on something or get no where at all.
They wrote the constitution knowing full well that we would have to fight the civil war. An unfortunate truth that was in every 8th grade social studies book.
To this day, I would argue that only people who pay taxes should be able to vote, ie, people with jobs/property/etc.. Why should someone who contributes nothing to society determine where other people's money goes? But that's my two cents, and is honestly probably my most "fascist" philosophy that I subscribe to. And would be obsolete by the time it would ever be legislated anyways, as robots will take all of our jobs anyways and the whole idea of government will be turned on its head. But meh.
>>717575892 My point over your head. See, I just did exactly what you were doing right back at you, and be a nonproductive piece of shit. Maybe I'll put /s after shit so autism fags who don't understand context can play along with us. Most the time I wouldn't do something like that, but you insulted the love of my life - so fuck you. Say someone useful or productive to the conversation or stop talking.
>>717576738 Apparently I've been here too long since I'm arguing with a scrub who doesn't even have any arguments or points. My sentence structure is really not complicated at all. Try reading a book sometime. Your inferiority complex is so apparent and cringeworthy. What a miserable life you must lead when you go around getting mad at other people because you don't know how to read.
I've found many women and men in my life. I fell in love with a cute girl who loves science and works with her hands and plays video games, and I fell in love with him again when he transitioned. Insulting someone's sex life is pretty pathetic imo, especially when you have no idea the kinds of things I've done ;)
>>717560271 A joke of a title. Were bound by ideology, not label, so no matter what they label us or how many traits they assign to that stereotype, it's an empty signature that's just going to be taken over by retards who don't know where the movement came from.
Doesn't seem like it. Some people claim the label is bunk and means nothing. Some say it's a demonization tactic by whiny leftards. Some are libertarians. Some are extremely authoritarian. Some are even old lefties who think fighting idpol is the greater good.
