>Clerk for a state controlled liquor store
>10.10 an hour, but fucking awesome health and retirement benefits
Czech republic, in the capital. I haven't been working at this position for long, but yeah, it's pretty sad. We're pretty much cheap eastern work force for Germany and USA.
10 an hour at Dollar Tree? You must live in a high cost of living state. The Dollar Tree in Idaho pays everyone 7.25 and tells them they should be grateful they're getting paid at all
For me personally, I take home anywhere in between 800 and 1000 a month.
Roughly 32% of my cheques go to deductions.
My hours fluctuate drastically depending on the time of year so it is fucking difficult to plan my finances.
Luckily I'm gonna be doing some under the table oddjobs for a friend and my sister to get a little more.
Just divide yours by how many Fridays there are that month and that's per week. Overall, after all of our taxes (federal, state, local, Medicare Medicaid, mandatory health insurance or fine, property, sales, luxury, vehicle, and others varying by location) we probably lose aroind half or more to the government. More of you're "rich" according to Big Brother.
Damn...I started at 8 but moved up pretty fast because no one wanted to unload the truck.
They had a faggot walk out during the truck and a few more quit the day after the truck came in.
I'm the only dumbshit they could find to stick around .
I'm getting trained to be the new merch manager so that will put me up to 11 an hour.
> nightfill stocker for a walmart-like chain in my country
> 14 usd an hour
Works good, regularly end up walking around 15 km a night and lift heavy things. Can't sleep for shit during the day though
government's faggot lap dog.
doing the man's work.
Construction worker (sealant contractor) $80K 25-26
>33k is 2750 per month, it's a good salary in France, especially if you don't have to live in Paris.
I know it's a pretty ok income (even if I'm in Paris), it's just that it's pretty low for my studies (did a top end engineering school). I worked briefly in VC and was paid almost the double. The avg income after two years is around 50k.
But yeah I'm kind of a dipshit to bitch about it, since I live pretty well.
>The avg income after two years is around 50k.
>posting on 4chan
>making almost half mil a year
>Automotive Technician at Acura
>12 Canadian shekels per hour
I grow weed in a shed in my backyard and sell it to high schoolers. I don't smoke anymore just trying to raise some money to transfer from community college. 20yo Still living with parents
I used to do that shit back in the day with code generator sites (PSN/XBL), made quite a bit of money. I think my highest was around 80k for the month. It took me and 4 other people to help me buy and send out codes.
was a chemical technician already, took home about 2000€ a month by working day and night shifts, except for the fucked up life situation a chilled job.
Cancelled and now i studi chemical engeneering, almost no motivation to learn anything, will be hard finals but who cares, enough money for some more months/years
lol yeah that's right I can't shitpost on my free time. I attached a lil pic just for you faggot. Haven't transferred my money yet from last month and a week or two in the month before that.
I don't even know why I'm sending you this.
you're sending it because you're insecure, and you're here because you have a depressing lack of imagination as to what to do with your free time given your financial resources.
>implying I like spending my money
>implying I don't save up for retirement at 35.
But seriously though, why do I have to waste my money on some bs? I was on /b/ when I was fuckin working at Menards making 7 something an hour and I'm still on /b/ now.
Nice, don't know much about what that is but it sound impressive. I mainly do adsense and YouTube stuff because I like being a ham on cam.
I should probably get serious and do something similar to what you're doing.
Fellow Sparky here. What the fuck im making 18dollars an hour herevin Texas. wTF.
And those that are making money are only up to $26.
Either that ir Canadian money is worth peanuts. Consider ur self lucky.
>Not continue to argue about my realness.
Quelle promotion ? Je croyais que c'était entré en vigueur l'obligation de rembourser la pantoufle, et c'est pas avec tes 33k€/an en étant allé dans le privé que tu vas le faire

$55k per year starting, about $65k with overtime
Insurance and TSP is the bomb diggity.
28 yrs old
As >717450913 says about the taxes. It is easy to figure out what you make a month. Just take your hours, and multiply them by your rate. But I get paid weekly, that whole getting money for a month is for welfare fags in the US.
Worked in SW/HW PC industry, same company for 20 years. Hated every minute of every day at work. Didn't inflate my lifestyle like all my peers did. They were leasing luxury cars and I was living in the same old house with paid for beater car, steady making mortgage payments. Don't care about money for money's sake, low expenses, done. Work sucks ass.
not the other anon but this makes sense.
/b/ is interesting and free. It's also kind of a habit to check this board once and while.
The minute I started making any kind of money online I either held onto it for dear life or invested any amount that I didn't need that month.
Don't buy a porn, make one.
Anon you must do some business out of pof, been in the logistics game myself but at the lowest of levels.
If your any good at what you do then surely you'll know what I mean.
How do I get in on this meme business of your's, any outsourcing of work you need doing as well? I'm local, could maybe inspect shipment's and shit...
$15 yard scale
$32.65 pump scale
50+ Not working today due to rain. I also get time in a half over 8 hours/Saturday, double on Sunday/holidays. Then you get what the union considers scale on Federal Projects which is $44.85 in my state. I am non-union in a union shop, but right to work state. I am also a mechanic, and work on the equipment. Get 2 weeks paid vacation, medical that I pay part of,and company stock. Being a company hack has its benefits because I make a higher scale, and get the other perks. Stupid union slugs.
dear god look how that bitch is holding the soldering iron
About half that for my particular situation. Paid for house and car. Don't need any 'stuff'. Good health. Just have to disconnect from what TV and mainstream fucks are telling you is 'required' to be happy.
Didn't know we were also listing our benefits.
Proud union member in an open shop. Time and a half for everything after 8, double time for anything after 10 in a day. Right now I get 4 weeks paid vacation a year will max at 5 in 6 more years, all government holidays paid off, earned sick leave 1 hour for every 4 worked. Full medical that costs 24 bucks a pay period.
nonunion pukes fuck off.
>work at body shop for classic cars
Will be going back to school to get a diploma in a field I will never work in and live the American dream paycheck to paycheck.
>>implying i would be making almost 60k a year doing a bullshit easy job without a union.
My dues are 40 bucks a month, get fucked. They're also tax deductible I get half of that back every year.
anti-union kids are the worst.
Yes so true we are. Because we scare the hell out of the we need someone to protect us hacks. In the real world the unions have lost a lot of power. It is only in the government where they have any pull, or in fantasy land.
Fucking hell 2$ an hour, hookers aren5 even that cheap in the states
31 Sysadmin 56k (plus up to 3% bonuses around the holidays if the overlords are feeling generous)
I used to fantasize about being a Sysadmin.
Now I fantasize about being a park ranger.

super easy job

Control system engineer
Are you also in PA?
Not going to happen in my industry. There is no contractor to replace us because of the part of the business I am in. They would have to supply their own equipment, and have such a low rate they could not pay themselves, or even for their machines. I will not even get into the amount of liability insurance they would have to carry as well.
Problem with too many is they choose careers that can easily be done outside of the offices/business. Mine cannot, and that is why I moved into it. Also I am close enough to retirement that I can say so what, and cash in my stock without a problem.
It helps to have a background, mine was being a server at nice restaurants and then the wine guy of a growing package store...
...But you could totally join a small distributor without much experience and then really focus yourself on learning as much as possible about wines, then move up. Realistically, as long as you show up to customers every week with a decent attitude they'll start buying from you
Problem is you have to be super self motivated. I usually am, but today I chose to stay home and watch movies. VERY easy to fall into this lifestyle and get fired fast
I make $10.30/hr and am completely financially indepedent, and save $75 a month + contribute to my 401k. I dont live paycheck to paycheck, not even close.
Sorry we're not all retards like you.
aerospace process mechanic / 26
meaning I took a course at a trade school and finished it. 1800 hours+ internship
I live/work in Montreal.
plenty of jobs as a millwright (also called industrial mechanic or electromechanic here)
but like I said, you either need a plug or lots of experience.
most people in my class graduated (I think only 3-4 failed) but 1-2 years later still haven't found a job in the field like me.
But you acknowledge that it can and does happen in other industries? Thus creating a need for a Union to elect it's own members to better negotiate their own rights with the company?
Shit, that's pretty bad. At least take this.
I am 27, works as a "IT-consultant". I've got no got damn idea what i really am, and what my company are charging me for when they hire me, i am in like a lucky position now with a good pay. I basically sit all day browsing the internet while drinking coffee with my customers.
I make about 3105$ a month.
Well that is not my problem. It is that far too many make bad choices, or choose to only stay in one part of an industry. I have been in construction my whole life, and through all of the trades. I have never been off of work more than a couple of weeks. So if people are not motivated enough to learn all they can it is their fault.
I grew up in Detroit and learned to hate the unions, and union hacks. They were full of nepotism, and cronyism. Total BS.
Aerospace Quality Inspector
Not nearly as cool as it sounds. I just look over parts that will be used in the military and make sure the match the specs and blueprints exactly. Past few weeks its been panels for C-RAMs and EC-130 Compasses.
