Yes. Clean yourself up. Do laundry, shower, brush your teeth (regularly, like twice a day or an hour after any meal), floss (at least once a week, preferably a few days in a row), make your bed *every* fucking morning, get dressed and put on shoes. For me , shoes are important as that facilitates being active and going outside. Slippers make me cozy and lazy, even if dressed.

Once you get yourself together and gain some pride, then go out and start with volunteer work - soup kitchens are a great place to start. If you seem like you care, a job offer *might* come your way, but look for a job as well. How cool do you think it would sound to a prospective boss when you can say, "Well, I'm volunteering at the soup kitchen because I need to be active."
