>>717383535
bad rats is $1
>>717381289
whats ur taste in games OP ? add me on steam and explain me so i can give you some suggestions... im playing right now so i cant be on /b all the time
steamcommunity.com/id/Stormz342/
>>717383535
because most /b/ users are too underage to work or too socially retarded to talk to other people let alone hold a job
>>717381289
It depends on your tastes, honestly. If you want a nice RPG experience, I would recommend Dark Souls 3 if you are fond of the series or Dragon's Dogma. If you like old JRPGs "I am Setsuna" is a good investment. I mean, besides the evident options such as The Witcher 3.
FPS wise....DOOM is a solid choice since 20 bucks is an awesome price for a single player game of that caliber. If you like zombies, Dying Light is a great choice too. No more ideas coming to mind, honestly for FPS.
And then, on indies and stuff like that. I personally recommend Axiom Verge (Metroid-like game), Stardew Valley (Harvest Moon like game), Shovel knights, Rogue Legacy, Risk of Rain, Bastion, Transistor. Or I'd even recommend (outside of indies) Shadowrun, a personal taste on gaming.
I don't know. Feel free to add me and personally discuss or ask for specific games if you want to know more!

>>717381289

http://steamcommunity.com/id/opietheretard
Stalker series is cheap as fuck
>>717382362
>asks what games I should buy
>gets entire thread asking for games
Nah, I'm very poor the rest of the year, so I'm using this to get some games I normally can't get
>>717382653
Was thinking about that, saw hbomb make a video on it, also thinking about Lisa
>>717383935
I'll message you yeah
>>717381703
Computer can't run witcher 3, even though I spent 900 on it, it's a laptop so I'm fucked on any triple A's made after 2011, excluding low res shit like payday 2
>>717381289
Get Dust: An Elysian Tail
It's a side-scrolling hack-and-slash with an epic, involved story, beautiful visuals, cool characters, hand-painted backgrounds, an amazing soundtrack, and really intuitive gameplay. Also, it has a fair share of humor, but not the kind of humor that gets in the way of the story. You'll visit quaint villages, snowbound mountains, eerie graveyards, and the caldera of a volcano in your adventure, among other locales.
Also, it's 80% off, so it's only $2.99 USD right now. It's one of my favorite games of its genre.
>>717381681
bumparoo
>>717384063
I was looking at dark souls, but I think my laptop (I know, I don't have room for a desktop though) is too shit to run it
I've already got doom, bastion and transistor (fucking brilliant, all of them) but the rest of your suggestions look good, thanks
>>717384520
Fucking best most beautiful game, soundtrack is wondrous.
>>717384520
This is a really well written suggestion, I'll be sure to check this one out, I love indie adventure games
>>717384819
Yeah, I actually just started my sixth playthrough two days ago. I'm a few screens outside Mudpot, the village underground.
>>717384736
What kind of laptop do you have? Anyway, previous Souls games are good (And easy on low end PCs/laptops) too if you can't run the last one and they have a rather active community.
Anyway, happy to help, OP!
OP here, are the metro games a good investment?
I like fallout, and this seems to blend that and bioshock gameplay wise.
>>717385074
This. Dark Souls 1 is the best anyway. I got bored of 3. never even bothered with NG+
>>717384887
I'm quite glad I caught your attention with it. It's really a very, very great game. I bought it when it was at full price, and it was worth every penny.
Here's the Steam release trailer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tMMbAXhCNU
>>717385172
Yes! Metro 2033 is great as fuck. Didn't play Last Light, though but friends told me is shorter than the 2033 but good as well!
>>717385074
It's a 900 dollar MSI laptop. It runs stuff like bioshock, subnautica, fallout, and payday 2 very well, it has a tough time with skyrim, and it completely shits out on witcher 3
>>717385239
I can see why. Personally, I got a bit hooked into DS3 PVP for a long time (Right now, I'm playing Bloodborne due to sales, though, which is nice) but I'm definitely going back at it in a few months.
DS1 was just amazing, I played it in such a late time and had a blast soloing it. I'm definitely looking forward for a remake of that game on console (Yeah, I'm a pleb but because I'm too short on money to upgrade my PC and relying on PS4.). I was also a big fan of DS2 even though it's flaws and critics.
>>717385507
Yeah, DS games are pretty generous on low end pcs, though. But, seems pretty similar to mine so you'd be on the edge of "playable", honestly. You can always do your own quick research, though. You could be surprised. Nevertheless, you still have plenty of great options, OP. Don't worry a thing.
>>717381289
