But if you're fighting the average unskilled fighter manlet then yeah, you'll have an advantage. but the purpose of knowing how to fight usually comes from smaller guys needing to handle bigger guys as it's rarely the manlets that go looking for a fight.

that said, most fighting systems or styles dont compensate much for this so if two equally skilled fighters of different sizes go at it, usually it's a safe bet to go with the bigger guy. there are exceptions however. jui jitsu, aikido, and anything at all to do with pressure points will generally render an arm reach advantage moot.

tl:dr unskilled fighters tend to mop up unskilled fighters. tall, large or otherwise.
