Should we revoke the citizenship of atheists?
They don't believe in "In God we trust", therefore they are more likely to be traitors.
Wait.

No.
1st Amendment, retard.
>>717191901
Nah. America is all about freedom and having opposing thoughts and opinions is encouraged
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So what? Trump is trying to forbid muslims to enter the country which is also against the 1st Amendment.
"In God We Trust" first appeared on U.S. coins in 1864[3] and has appeared on paper currency since 1957. A law passed in a Joint Resolution by the 84th Congress (P.L. 84-140) and approved by President Dwight Eisenhower on July 30, 1956 declared IN GOD WE TRUST must appear on currency. This phrase was first used on paper money in 1957, when it appeared on the one-dollar silver certificate. The first paper currency bearing the phrase entered circulation on October 1, 1957.[4]

We believe in "Novus Ordo Seclorum" and all the other sayings printed in money. More specifically, we believe in the secularism that takes precedence over all religious influence on our daily lives. Citizenship should instead be revoked from those who refuse to participate in government affairs and live on welfare too long.

He can deny regions entry, but not a religion. That executive order will get stricken by the Judicial system. It has to.
Also, last I checked, he backed down from that quietly. He didn't say he wasn't going to do it- he just stopped talking about it.
>>717192243
I like the constitution but it only applies to US citizens. Muslims in other countries only get the right to free speech once they live here. Not a second before.

Also he gets his choice of federal judge. They don't have to do anything he doesn't want for at least four more years. Even I find this disconcerting.

It still is discrimination if you cannot become a citizen of the United States just because of your religion
>country of the free, where people can practice their own belief without any punishment
>200 years later you vote for a president who is going to give up this principle

Hopefully, they'll at least be party-picks and not Trump picks.
Hopefully, those picks are people who respect the Judicial systems responsibility more than power.
>>717192646
The United States has not in any way changed its attitude toward non-citizens and foreigners. I guess you don't remember the Japs in WW2 either. We can discriminate all day long citizen or not if we feel a certain group of people are dangerous. It has always and will always be that way.

Should we revoke the citizenship of religionists?
They don't into basic logic and reasoning skills, therefore they are more likely to be manipulated and become traitors.

This was during a world war. When was the last time a muslim nation declared war on you?
>>717192726
I agree. Even as someone who is very conservative and believes in bringing America into another golden age (never going to happen but it's fun to pretend) I don't wish for a complete one sided control. No matter which side has it, eventually corruption will set in.
How about we revoke the citizenship of anyone who hasn't served in the military? It works for me.
>>717191901
>In God we trust
it is in nothing we trust.
TRUST NOBODY
>>717192954
You think just because we're not engaged in a total war we can't have enemies from other countries? We've never declared war on Russia but you can bet we discriminated against them for nearly 70 years. All it takes is suspicion. Not saying I support that but it is allowed officially.
>>717193081
I partially agree. I think citizenship should be earned but we can't expect women or disabled people to serve in the military. Not that we need them to have citizenship but we can't economically support a system like that either. We'd eventually have to broaden merits to earn rights.
