Yeah, I've used kratom for about a year simply because I found it makes me more interested in things and it boosts my mood. I don't get "high" or anything...that's simply not its effect. You're right, when I first started I did get a mild euphoria reminiscent of when I've taken prescribed norco or hydrocodone following surgeries. Red vein is good for relaxation. Red vein "bali" (actually Borneo) or Borneo is great stuff. Haven't used it in maybe 2 years personally, but I used it regularly. I'd make a simple tea out of it. My issue is that I'm a recovering alcoholic and tend to overdo things, including Kratom. It works as a pain relief, I take some before bed and I feel quite rested. I have bought the Red Bali and Red Maeng Dai or whatever.
