I got a job on an IT helpdesk once. They threw me on without any training whatsoever. The other people on the phones were too busy to teach me anything. My department was slow so i was sent to help him out. This happens often, sometimes i help him without being asked. I go to the restroom and see him. He instantly cops an attitude and asks me if im going back. I say of course, but tell him I'm going home early (already told my lead) so he'll know to pick up another worker if he needs it. We go back and theres my head boss. First thing that comes out of the dickheads mouth?

At my job. If you let us know before hand were cool. You have 3 minutes to show up after your scheduled shift time if you dont let us know ahead of time. After 5 minutes its a verbal warning if not a write up and after 30 min its no call no show. Most companies have a grace period and most are cool if you let them know ahead of time.
