It does everything better. Also, play a PC game from 2001 on a modern PC and then play a console game from 2001. Thanks to being able to max out graphics and performance (including beyond original intended limits) old games hold up much better years later on PC.

It runs games at better fps and at higher graphics quality than consoles.
Its also customisable and you dont have to pay to play online.
There is also a shit load of games for it.
There are also a lot more reasons why its the best platform but it suffers from one major issue, being that if you play on PC other people thibk you're a nerd virgin fag.

What I like about pc is the options. There are so many things you can do. I love being able to have 10 different controllers work on it no problem. Ps2/3, 360, GC, wiimote etc etc. It's great when people come over and have a controller preference.
I love the graphics and the frame rates. It's like playing a different game when you compare. I also love the mods for the same reason. It changes games completely whether it be graphically or gameplay wise.
I can go on and on. The ability to have options is what keeps me playing on pc. Also, having your own personal build feels great.

The reason people prefer pc is because it is ahead of the trend and it's update able for the future but after consoles catch up and it's cheaper to buy a new console rather than update your pc specs. I haven't really encountered these issues often. Windows updates are infrequent, game controllers are easy to set up(in the unlikely event that they are more suited to a game than a mouse and keyboard), graphics settings in game take like a minute to change, and the low frame rate argument isn't accurate either.

In general, the first toy seems very interesting. But in the future quickly tired of the lack of diversity. I can not advise to play it, but the taste and color of comrades there. Who will explain why.

I never thought of that actually. It's interesting to guess what the future has in store for everything. 4k already looks great and 8k is quite a lot better. I got to see a demo 8k panel at an event last year. But there will definitely be a point where we just can't progress much further.
Either way, since my field is mostly technology I'll tell you now that consoles won't be reaching smooth 4k gameplay for another decade or so.
What would be great though is if they gave consoles a lot more flexibility. Just a base console where you can upgrade it for more performance. Sorta like a steam machine I guess. If they keep creating locked down boxes, then it might take another 2 gets for 4k 60fps play.

The "gaming community" is pissing me off so hard with this console bullshit.

As long as you have competing systems, you'll have exclusive titles. That means either everyone has to buy every console out there to be able to play all the games, or people need to make sacrifices and accept that they can't play a game they want to, just because it's held back from their system.

I ended up buying a second gtx 780 recently for 160 dollars flat. I spent like 800 bucks on this computer back before ps3s came out and it still runs every game I could want. When you factor in 3 generations of consoles (PS2, PS3 and PS4) and the 60 dollars you have to pay per game where most if not all the games I play are free. I think I made a good deal.

The steam controller is infinitely better at being a controller than console controllers as well. It is the perfect controller to emulate every game in existence with its happiness feedback pads and motion control support. Not to mention the paddles on the back and the programmability of holds changing the buttons through various combinations. Mines been running on 2aa batteries for 8 months and it's still full charge. It's cheaper than ps4 and Xbox controllers and more versatile and above all else, is exclusive to pc because you have to actually have a brain to wrap around the extreme customization that the steam controller provides.

I'm big into PC gaming, but depending on what you get can be very expensive. It's just personal preference. I barely play my PS4 or XBox, but when I do, it's usually a game that's exclusive, friends playing the same game on one of the consoles, or maybe stupidity, I don know. My favorite is the PC though.

That's not true at all. Most of gaming on pc is controlled by gpu the cpu only has to load the program into the memory from the hard drive. The cpu being over clocked has nothing to do with games and everything to do with unlocking full potential of the computer running automated tasks as well as multitasking.
