God tier drummers thread. I'll start. Chris Adler, Lamb of God.
Matt Halpern, Periphery.
Needs no explanation.
DUDE FOCKING LARS OOLRECGGG IS THE BESTT FOCKEN TOMMER IN THIS FOCKEN WORLD
ITS LIKE YOOVE FOCKEN GOT ALL THE GOOD DROMMERS AND HAVE THEM THROW SEEMEN AT EECH OTHER AND THEN LARS COMES OOOT
HES FOCKEN MAJESTIC DOOD
>no Richard Christy
>no Gene Holgan
The 2 best ever . At least my 2 favorite. Mike Smith for best blasts no doubt.
You two Could Learn from this man lol
>Good choices btw
>no Gavin Harrison
I am disappoint
Lot of good drummers in this thread. Now here's a God Teir drummer
Dave king fagooooooooooot
Just saw this guy live with Nile. Excellent show and excellent drumming. I laughed before the set a bit because it seemed like it took a ton of people and a long ass time compared to the other bands to get his setup complete.
How is this good. It's only very fast
You ameriburgers don't get music yet do you. You need a massive stream of input to stray your minds from reality otherwise you might start to think right?
yes because playing fast = bad, even if it's technical
makes perfect sense.
not to mention a lot of great metal bands come from all over the world with varying degrees of musical talent
hurr durr he has two kick pedals, must be autist! blast beat more like fag beat! haha!
>>696932827 can no one appreciate an extremely talented drummer?
The highly underrated Bobby Jarzombek (Spastic Ink, Halford, Fate Warning, Sebastian Bach, Demons and Wizards, Arch Matheos, Riot)
for shame you take Neal's name in vain!
Davide Billia. Hour of Penance, Septycal Gorge, ex-Putridity.
Ron Bushy - Iron Butterfly
Listen to 6:30-910 for the first, best, and only drum solo ever. But do listen to the entire song and the better than god tier drumming.
This guy could hold his own as well.
>implying hammering a fucking skin at 64 bps makes you good
Don't mind me! Just posting an actual musician!
Okay how can there be a god tier drummers thread without bringing up Bill fucking Ward from sabbath
Not currently, but definitely an up and comer, Luke Holland. Also, Gavin Harrison is certainly the best at the moment. Matt Gartska is really talented as well.
I'd go along with that. He was pretty damn good in King Diamond, but he was simply amazing in Motorhead. He just kicked them up several dozen notches after joining them in the early 90's.
Hahaha already threw Him up dude,>>696929422
But Totally agree!!
>techical and solid
Describe how repetitive fast simple drills are teichnical and what the fuck is "solid" in a musical sense.. right you aren't talking music
don't kys, people can learn from your ignorance
Jack is more blues than 90s garage rock. Try listening to Catch Hell Blues by the White Stripes- dude has some chops without coming off as a blooze lawyer.
Also, fuck Everclear.
and I Totyally agree with ya!
Yes, I have. He's average at best. He sits behind an expanded kit and he does one simple drum roll and fanbois w/femdicks lose their shit.
I can't believe so many actual god tier drummers site him as an influence since none of his music stands the test of time.
>it's only very fast
watch out guys, not only does he know more about music than us, but he's not from america.
For the record, Billy cobham, Brann Dailor, and Dave Grohl are probably my favorites. Dave Grohl just has some cool grooves man
