Ive got five brothers. Two of them are gay. We're a close family. We were raised by involved parents who taught us right from wrong. Instilled in us their morals and the golden rule. When the second oldest came out (im the oldest) it was at dinner and he was 15. He was nervous, but had already told me. Mom and dad said "ok." Mom asked if he was seeing anyone, which he wasn't, but was interested in another guy. And then we discussed how things would be different for him than other people because of religious fundamentalists.

Our second to youngest brother never even really came out. I just remember him hanging out with the same friend all the time and we all just figured it out.

Me and the three straight bros all have children now. Our family is close, we spend lots of time together and help each other out with babysitting for each other. Our gay brothers pick up a lot of slack. And they're the most succesful brothers financially. My two kids and their five cousins all have college and starter funds started by their uncles and fully funded by them. $300 a month into each account. There will be enough to pay for their colleges and have a decent start to their life because of them.
