>>685196722 Try not to. I carry silver but try to go with ceramic or a composite. >>685196660 >>685196800 Dont play. >>685196898 Prolly another 20 years. really not too bad. >>685196959 Health wise, prolly. Teeth, yes. The enamel is going to start deteriorating. And dont believe the "clear sodas are better". They're all bad.
>>685197026 My team calls me doctor. I never told them to. But no, I tell my patients to call me by last name. >>685197068 Isnt this from a star trek episode on family guy? >>685197127 patience anon. answering multiples.
Weed is destroying my teeth, wat do? I brush twice a day, floss twice a day, and sometimes use mouthwash, but I also smoke a lot of weed before sleep (its for my insomnia). Because of this, I have little spit over night and its ruining my enamel. I haven't told my dentist yet and I'm not sure if I should
>>685197465 Looked at Ark. Seems interesting. never played. I say... rebuild and kill them all? >>685197526 no cigarettes. so good lungs. My kidneys are prolly shot though. >>685197558 You can have your dentist redo them, but insurance will prolly not pay it free. >>685197685 Last year averaged about $180k. Wife kicked my ass at about $240k cause she does specialty. >>685197687 they do not grow back unfortunately. they can become stronger though. NO DIPPING! its no better than smoking.
>>685197755 Graphis? Dont know. Prolly got it from here. >>685197807 Try a product called Bio....Tene. cant spell the whole thing. >>685197815 could be better. just picked a thumbnail. >>685197984 hahaha, i try not to do this. but i inevitably do. i am sorry anon.
I got my lower wisdom teeth pulled out one week ago today. I pretty much immediately started drinking beers after and within in a day or two smoked cigarettes. This week I think I have a minor case of dry socket. I saw also getting food in there and started irrigating with a plastic syringe. Finally I decided to remedy it by packing the sockets with orajel. I don't care about the numbing so much because just covering over the holes is enough to alleviate the pain.
Is this good enough and safe to get me through until they heal up some more or do I really need to go back to the dentist?
>>685198039 wat? >>685198223 brush more frequently but switch to a soft bristle brush. less harsh on the gums. >>685198373 she does root canals that are more complex, different things for kids that is more of a liability. >>685198404 you come to me...
>>685198445 they can be. i personally only recommend them for people with bad gag reflexes. >>685198535 wow... all i did was shake my head as i read. just go back. and dont smoke or drink from straws till healed. >>685198632 i will bleach upon request but i let my patience know the risks. >>685198697 obviously a few do.
>>685198750 worked on very attractive women before. dont really boner while working. and i bad breath pretty much smells like bad breath. >>685198906 try using electric toothbrush. wont require as much thrusting of the brush. >>685198930 i wouldnt go more than a couple months. its not only the tooth you have to worry about. if it is decaying inside the tooth, the root as well as the surrounding gums can be affected by it. >>685199143 there is no concrete cure. brush teeth AS WELL AS tongue.
>>685199229 brushing them lightly with a soft bristle tooth brush. non alcoholic mouth wash. >>685199290 give her 1 more chance. >>685199322 depends on the person. honestly, it comes down to laziness. >>685199397 damage to teeth and gums if done incorrectly.
Those are some pretty serious holes. It's going to take a long time to heal. You say to go back to the dentist but what is their remedy likely going to be? There's big fucking holes in my mouth and the nerves are exposed until some skin covers over. Before I go spending another couple hundred dollars I'd like to have some idea what I'm getting for it.
>>685199781 how much they care about their health. money doesnt always play a role into it. status doesnt always matter. >>685199903 without seeing proper xrays i cant say much, but a standard extraction should be fine. >>685199923 they're going to cut open the gums again, clean out the socket, prolly pack it and keep it soaked in antibiotics. >>685200125 again, thumbnails that im going through. they all look tiny from where im sitting. >>685200227 studying is always on going. it has its ups and downs like any job. i enjoy working with most my patients. some of them i wish would not come back though. too bad i cant say that. i get paid enough to live a very nice life. along side my wife, we make a very good living. >>685200484 do you want them more yellow? >>685200541 wat? >>685200551 noop >>685200846 smoking doesnt automatically mean you're gonna lose your teeth. but the gums are going to get pretty messed up. please dont smoke. >>685200880 mouth?
Sounds like exactly what I'm already doing except for the cutting part. I've been cleaning with syringe and protecting with a dab of orajel over the hole, seems to have been working great the last 2 days. What am I missing here? Seems is just a waiting game until the sockets fill in some more.
One of my molar is chipped off, my dentist said I should have a root canal and have a crown put in. I agreed and had a predetermination from my insurance, turns out I still need to pay $700. Told him fuck that just pull out the tooth, suddenly they were able to convince my insurance to partially cover the crown and the cost is down to $300. Should I still go for it or should I just have it extracted?
My gums ALWAYS bleed when I brush my teeth and they're also receeding, what can I do to help? I brush with colgate and use Listerine Gigivitis treatment for it as well but I used to have an energy drink almost every day
They're a bitch to keep clean. Technically you can keep them but they may get deteriorated over the years then need to come out anyway. They can also ache when you get a sinus infection, even if they've come in well and have room.
>>685201356 some people dont need them pulled. usually the mouth will not occupy the additional teeth. when they come in, they can push the others. see your dentist to see if you need them pulled. >>685201318 penis? >>685201416 because frog. >>685201418 yeah... not risking my career on that one. >>685201451 and this is why my wife works with kids. you ever feel like you get into a rut and go through the motions without ever really thinking? >>685201576 up to you anon. if it gets infected you're gonna be in pain. >>685201644 even if they come in strait, there might physically not be enough room in your mouth for them. trust your dentist. >>685201653 call your insurance to verify the cost. if it is really $300 go for it. insurance doesnt really waive fees though. sounds kinda off. >>685201978 floss floss floss
>>685202072 you have math on your teeth... no one ever laughs at that. floss and maybe change how you brush. >>685202217 ive taken a few teeth from a woman that claims to have "fallen down the stairs" >>685202410 i dont ask what tobacco they use. i just ask them to stop. >>685202532 possible tmj >>685202558 well...
>>685201644 I'm not OP but here's the deal with wisdom teeth. If you didnt grow them out until age 21 they will most probably not grow however there is a risk that they will couse trouble in the jaw because they are not out. Trouble in the jaw as meaning pushing other teeth from the inside, damaging jaw integrity etc. I wouldnt recommend surgery to pull them out unless they are cousing you trouble and pain. >>685201978 Bleeding gums is cured by brushing more, keep brushing your teeth even more when your gums bleed and it will stop.
>>685202985 depends on the person. several weeks and it'll usually be closed but not healed. stay calm anon. >>685203194 wat? >>685203197 go see dentist. they'll refer you if needed. >>685203226 most likely not. at this point if there is no infection or pain id say you're in the clear. like i said before, not everyone needs them out. my mother is 68 and still has hers.
>>685196490 I got 3 of my wisdom teeth taken out, but i aint wanna get the fourth one, because its hard to stop the bleeding without the other tooth being there. last time i swallowed a shit ton of blood in my sleep and threw it all up the next morning, I dont want to do that again. what should I do dentist. its only one more but im a lil bitch
My middle molar on upper left side has a hole that's angled in a way that it seems like it's cut in the corner, idk what that makes sense. I went to the doctor and he put some shit it in and made it back into a "whole" tooth a year ago. But recently that shit deteriorated and now it's back again, there seems to be some blood vessel that I keep braking and it ends up bleeding, aka my breath smells like ass in seconds, this sometimes happens when I brush my teeth. What do?
Btw, is it true that some fruits/foods can help you straighten out your teeth? My mom always kept telling me that if I eat a apple a day, my teeth won't be as fucked if I didn't.
I brush about three times a year, smoke cigs everyday, and drink lots of soda and energy drinks everyday. I've been doing this for five years now but I just went to the dentist a few months ago and they said my teeth look fine. Will it catch up to me eventually and am I doomed to have dental problems later in life?
OP serious question here, a long time ago around 13 years ish the dentist said there were teeth growing out and I decided to leave them there, I think they are still in there but jammed deformed growth? ( my gums are bigger on the tooth that were supposed to grow) fast forward 13 years can it possibly cause any neurological symptoms? i think it might be because of this I have some nasal symptoms or it might be the fac tthat I smoked a lot of weed in my earlier years
I had a bump show up on the roof of my mouth near my left molars five years ago. It's been there and has grown and receded over the years. Last years the closest molar basically fell apart leaving only half a tooth. I'm in no pain, but I need to go to the dentist. I hate spending money on medical shit, but what can I expect to have happen?
>>685196490 After every meal, for the last 2-3 months, I've been: rinsing my mouth flossing my teeth brushing them using moutwash (only twice a day - breakfast and dinner, or lunch and dinner if no breakfast)
>>685218757 if i break my arm or need surgery its covered, but dental is usually covered by employee benefits ( usually 50% or 25%) or you pay into other health insurance, but im 23 and work a shit job so i dont have that kind of scratch.
