I thought I had my chakras aligned when speaking with a friend of mine who's a Hare Krishna. The topic of chakras didn't come up at all, but the language he used was pretty surreal and seemed to program me on another level.
Personally I'm a Buddhist/Nihilist who doesn't really acknowledge their existence, despite having numerous psychedelic fueled episodes that seem to defy rational explanation, or at least my capability to explain, or listen to somebody else's input who wasn't there, and doesn't necessarily understand the ultimate subjectivity of such phenomena.

I've been meditating for almost 10 years, tried "living meditation" a year or so back, can direct energy for simple things like controlling heart rate and how much I bleed from cuts. Practical meditation for me started with tummo meditation, eventually I realised using sacred geometry could attain similar effects but with a lot more ease (but less actual heat). At the moment I'm trying to use it for super strength, but it only seems to work for bursts of energy, so I can't just go to a gym and lift 100kg weights. It's good for... Uh, cracking bolts and opening jars, not much else.

BTW distribute your energy equally and foresake the chakra points. The chakra obsession leads to things like poor energy flow to your legs, if you meditate next and distribute evenly and then feel a cool feeling in your legs, that's because you were unbalanced as fuck. Instead, imagine yourself filling your body entirely, not just centred on your heart or stomach or head.
