Hey mate

Would any Kiwi's recommend immigrating to your country? I work as a nurse currently, but i'm finish up school to be a physician. I've been doing some reading about how New Zealand needs more doctors and physicians. So much so, most of the hospitals are offering incentive packages to move there and work.

What's the financial and socioeconomic state of the country? What do utilities run there? The gf states that utilities are prepaid, and your net usage is highly regulated and limited. Is this true?

Any pro's and cons vs the Northern Island vs the Southern island?

The gf (a Kiwi) brags about home constantly, and has explained a few things. However, it seems a bit skewed in favor of moving back to NZ. If it's so great, I have to ask myself why so many people leave the country as soon as they have an education.
