It's as comfortable and stable a place to live as any other western democracy. Never had a civil war, virtually no military conflict on our own soil ever, life is easy, most places. Free healthcare, endless unemployment benefits (if you want to sit on your arse and fish for the rest of your life), multicultural larger cities, pretty hick regional areas, though. The entire country is literally surrounded by awesome beaches..

From Australian here, 2nd best living standards in the world, I would say we do pretty good. Nice views, everything is basically on the coast though, houses are expensive in SYD and yeah. they are fucking gaycunt 12ves and break trains and graffiti and shit but otherwises its pretty chill
