If you kidnap the right person properly, that can be worth a lot.
It's nothing like how it is on the movies. Just make sure the person you're taking cooperates with you. Let them know you're serious at the begining by smacking them up and threatening them. After that chill a bit so they'll cooperate. Let them know the reality of the situation is that you've got them, they're yours and they're dead if they leave.
Still look after them, food, human interaction, showers ETC.

If you can get them to be the ones to ask the people paying the ransom to not contact anyone and just pay the money, that's better. Let them spill the situation but keep an eye on them when they do it so no messages or anything are getting through.

Also, make sure the person paying the ransom can actually pay. Make it an amount that's worth your trouble, but wont put them out too much. Chances are if the amount is small enough they'll just pay it without causing trouble.

Just dont be a fucking retard and know it's not a movie. It's real people with real emotions and family's.

If you don't get the money, and the victim has seen you, you need to get rid of them because they WILL give you up, no matter what they say. No matter what. A person can be really convincing if they feel their life is in danger.
