It was yet another example of "why do people like Christopher Nolan?" Well I take that back somewhat, Memento was fine.

Am I the only one that HATED the audio in this film? The dialogue was muddy and difficuilt to hear which made trying to understand the film difficuilt... but luckly I understood the science behind it so I already knew what was going on.

But not being able to hear the dialogue properly really ruined this film for me.

Interstellar, while bragging about its scientific advisors, has a lot of stupid shit. Examples include:
-a planet so close to a black hole to have tide of that magnitude should be ripped apart by gravity diferentials.
-if the ship orbits that planet, half the time it is actually closer to the black hole than the planet itself, so the whole bulshit about 20+ years difference between the black guy and the away team makes no sense.

I disagree on the "realistic" part. A retired Nasa pilot recognizes that a disturbance in the dust on the ground is communication by gravity and recognizes it as morse code, which he then translates into coordinates. Lotta other stuff happen that is pretty run of the mill for scifi, then he passes through an event horizon of a black hole.
