Currently using a t440 thinkpad that office had given me for a year; always wanted a thinkpad before my company gave me one.

All I can say is it's a terribly dependent machine. Not sluggish at all despite running it with usually 6 spreadsheets open and multiple applications. It doesn't crash nor does it blue screen, and it's really really solidly built.

Cons really are it's purposely built to be a business machine; so the screen, sound, and overall "entertainment " value of the thinkpad is almost nil.

I've used dells and a vaio prior to this lappy and all I can say is thinkpad is the best laptop I've tried to date working and productivity wise.
