It rotated when I uploaded, this is the proper orientation
Did you deliberately make this part look like a face?
Did you deliberately make it look like an abstract humanoid figure?
what are you going to paint on top of the shitty background you painted in 5 mins?
kek, well it still sucks and could not have taken more than 30min to do
I think any image that is meant to convey a nonspecific, take-your-pick array of emotions without any imagery is a disgrace to artists everywhere.
did you deliberately make this part look like penis?
This is why I stopped taking art seriously. I'd do pieces like these that would take a week to do, teacher would criticize. Some sjw brings in a paper in which she splattered paint on it, she'd get a perfect score
>implying Basquiat's paintings aren't overrate horseshit
im going to have to disagree with you on that anon, you just dont get SAMO
I hate to be an art critic because art isnt easy and its very challenging and i get critisized a lot and it sucks, however it makes you better and this abstract bullshit is far from art and takes little skill. I hate it, looks like someone scraped wet cement from their shoe onto your canvas
Well that's not even my style, hell I don't even have a style.
It honestly looks like you splattered various shades of gray onto a canvas. Abstract art is code for art with no true meaning, anyone who claims to understand abstract art is only pretending to do so.
dude it's not that you're stupid.
it's just crapstraction and will cease to be more than that until you turn a corner of some kind. you're not doomed to failure, this painting just hasn't resolved itself yet.
maybe keep working on it... or make lots more quick ones and only show the best.
>>675577371 I kind of disagree, I am >>675575570 and things like this I view similar to a rorschach test and like to find all kinds of images hidden in them. Although I also do that with my ceiling and the bathroom wall.
Explain to me how this isn't worth $87M. I can literally feel the artists angst and shit.
it's better than what you can do faggot
My original idea was to use a splatter guard and other like objects as a stencil to make something like the fuzz that shows on a tv. That didn't work out, but I explored other forms of spatter, like mixing paint with water and throwing it through the splatter guard.
Is it supposed to give off the Rorschach test vibe where you're looking for shapes within the painting, or is it literal mindless splatter that you thought ended up looking pretty so you posted?
