Movies that other people always say are good, but they really suck.
This piece of shit.
GR8 B8 I R8 8/8 Fag.
It's based on a true story so I don't blame the movie from keeping close to the book. In that prospective I think the movie was "okay," however, without the book for comparison the movie does suck.
>I thought it wasn't to bad.
Did NOT care for the godfather. I just couldn't get into it...
It insists upon itself.
Also, op is a fag
I couldn't get through the first half hour of it.
So far the only Batman movie in history to finally end the story, and it could have been so much better
frozen and inception are overrated as fuck
however OP is huge faggot as that film will forever be a fucking masterpiece, the music, the acting and simply the disturbing nature of the film make it fucking awesome.
Long live Alex DeLarge.
also fuck OP.
I think that's what makes me hate it more. People glorified that faggot even though he caused his family a lot of grief just to die a selfish cunt. Fucker got what he had coming.
It's cool if you like it. I'll have my opinion and you'll have yours. No big deal.
Yeah, it's funny how many people mix up new hope and empire. Almost all the memorable things in star wars come from empire, the only really memorable thing happening was the deathstar blowing up. They could probably condense the entire film into a half hour and stick it at the start of empire.
ITT: God tier movies with no explanation for why anons don't like them
It was cool for it's time.Same with star wars.It was before cgi.No gave a shit for it's story, if you want the story go read androids dream of electric sheep. It's pretty autistic, the author was on drugs the whole time.Music in the film was fairly chill though.
I don't really think it has any major downfalls, It's a good movie, I just don't think it's a "masterpiece" like a lot of people tend to think. It can't touch Clockwork Orange for example.
Batman Begins was decent and The Dark Knight was incredible, but Dark Knight Rises just shit all over the Batman mythos, and was shit in more ways than I can express.
>yes I mad
And now, the most overrated movie of all time.
i really was expecting more, i'm really into sci-fi, but when i saw the fucking robot grow arms and manually push a lever to open a door i just stopped the goddamn thing.
You didn't even get to the kicker, I enjoyed it in IMAX but Christopher Nolan changes the ending his brother wrote, he tried to go full kubrick instead only fucking his shit up with cliche
Never seen Barry Lyndon and didn't like A Clockwork Orange. Good films otherwise. I just remember watching the movie before knowing anything about it and my opinion was, "Meh, that was okay, I guess." Next day I mentioned it to friends and they all jizzed over it.
It wasn't for me.
You walked out of the cinema because you saw that part? That film is a cinema film, it should and only be seen in a cinema. It's pointless and not even a film if you watch it on a tv.
cartoons are for KIDS. Time to grow out of them, /b/
I agree I watched it for the first time recently. It was okay I guess but I will almost certainly never watch it again.
I think the main reason it's important is historical context; it was one of the first high quality adult animes that became popular in the west.
The original ending had Cooper somehow get to a space station outside of the galaxy where there is a population of only robots and they somehow mapped the entire galaxy and found every wormhole that exists in it. There is then, conveniently, a wormhole that turns back time, and Cooper uses that to get back to Murph, who by the way was originally a boy. If that doesn't sound convoluted to you I don't know what would
It's bland and basic by today's standards, but it established so many cinematic techniques and standards that were groundbreaking at the time. Now we take them for granted.
It's like saying Michael Jordan is overrated because Lebron could beat his ass on the court. True, but you're missing the point.
This movie was shit whenever Genie wasn't on screen. Jasmine was a boring princess, Aladdin felt like a whiny teenagers ideal edgy boyfriend, and Jafar was an extremely bland villain.
I heard the original ending was it ends as soon as he tries to send info back into the wormhole the wormhole collapses and the film ends no happy ending.
They should of has that and thenmccougnahey waking up from his nightmare dream with murph talking about be ghost, it would be an alternative universe but he would be forever repeating the same journey for nothing
