Different multiple directors, filming & writing time constraints, too many people watching their every move during production, general over all pressure.

Most often expectations are hard to live up to when so much is riding on it.
Does Nic Pizzolatto have the ability to present another compelling story with characters just as interesting without seeming too much as if caricatures of season one ?

Ok, here's my feeling about this one.
First, i knew about with the Simpson episode, and the Iron Maiden song, and as i like shows like this, i mean 60's-70's like Twilight Zone and Kolchak. I watched like, the 6 first episodes and GOSH, it was rubbish. Come on, every image is the same, like the choppers shots, or ocean shots. So, maybe you'd say "That's an old show, with limited budget" but man, even the story was shitty, it doesn't move of any mm and episodes have no links.

You know how Dexter should have ended?

It should have ended with Dexter killing someone who ended up being innocent.

Like, let's say that the person confessed to the crime but the confession was tossed out because the police coerced it from the person. Dexter decides to do his thing on the person and kill him. Later he finds out that the person was innocent and he has a history of false confessions, maybe he's a little slow mentally or something.

I would've enjoyed seeing how Dexter would react to such a scenario.

The whole show was about Dexter and whether he would get caught or not, which I found boring. I would've liked to see more ethical situations brought up, like what he would do had he killed an innocent person.
