Made these threads before, seem to be pretty successful.
Anyway post the game you've spent the most ours playing, along with the amount of hours played.
Pic related, Spent somewhere over one thousand hours playing in total.
Fallout 3 was the bomb.
I used to know that song in the VR pod by heart. That's how much I played that game. I don't even remember how much though
Still the best Call of Duty ever made.
Also around 1000 hours
OP here, yeah it's funny cos modern warfare two is my second most played game with 57 days played so something like 1,300+ hours.
And yes, it was the best call of duty ever made hands down.
>played it since 2002
>would play it every single day for almost four years at one point
>regularly stayed up all night to play it
Probably clocked over 5000 hours on that game
Only game I might have spent more time on was fucking runescape, I was addicted to that shit when I was younger.
2000 hours, greatest Playstation 2 game of all time.
Fuck this faggot game. Been playing on and off since release. probably like 7000+ hours
fucking hell, I've probably wasted over 200 days total time IN GAME.
also this and fallout new vegas/3
no one said this yet?
months of played time. glad i don't play anymore though.
Over 1,312 hours in this glorious master piece of a game. When arguments are brought up asking if video games are art, I pull out this baby, and get free blowjobs all around for all my bros.
Never before has a game sucked me in for 120 hours of game-time. In one week.
....I just... I couldn't put it down.....
The punch line? I still haven't beaten the main campaign.
I'm glad OP isn't a fucking 10 year old beta fag who wastes his time playing CoD or LoL. Thank you for proving to me that humanity isn't on the brink of total neckbeards. Fallout is my favourite game ever. Stay gold OP.
Played this as much as battlefront 2
Had this for a few months. Totally adicted. About 300 hours
Minecraft, followed by Skyrim, followed by Fallout 3. I don't have hours recorded on either of the first two because Minecraft's stats have broken so many times, and I played Skyrim on PS3 and 360 and PC, but I have at least five Fallout 3 saves with 250+ hours on them.
Amazing game, put in around 500+ hours for that. Can't really play it anymore, xbox 360 is too slow to load all my shit in it. One of the greatest games ever made thiugh in my opinion.
fuck this game. seriopusly its so autistic and I keep playing help
I have like 2-3000 hours idk anymore
Never owned a PC in my life actually mate. Been a console nigga since day one.
I'd be curious how different the responses would be if we took out all MMORPGs, the CoDs and TF2s...basically any game with on-line components. The experience of playing with others is not the same as single player games.
Fallout 3 is the only game I've 100%'d the cheezemints and all DLC.
The other two big ones would be the original Final Fantasy Tactics (my game file was hundreds of hours) and Parasite Eve - which I played over and over for ten years to level all the way up to 99 in order to beat the "real" ending.
I finally managed to quit, after probably a similar amount of time. I was actually trying to get a server up and running with my friends, they just graduated from uni and left town, I wanted a way to keep in touch regularly and play some games.
One of them had internet that was so shit that he could barely play, it kind of ruined what I had hoped would be a fun experience for us and turned me off the whole game.
Pretty sure logged the most hours in this fucker
Played this for years and years nonstop.
Neo Scavenger. Good game on Steam Turn-based hardcore Survival RPG set in post apocalyptic Michigan
Spent 182 hours on it, and counting.
~3700 on super smash melee.
Thank god for my childhood.
Eh, NV had no flavour. It was a distinctly improved engine, and I think hardcore mode was a significant improvement to the game, but it just didn't have the quality of story telling, in the main quest, side quests or random details of the world.
Technically speaking, it was the better game, but Fallout 3 was much more fun. I really hope that the Bethesda announcement at E3 is Fallout 4 on an engine heavily inspired by NV.
Probably a tie between New Vegas and Oblivion, with around 900 hours for each. I've always hopped between PC and console, so I can't be 100% sure.
How many hours?
Way to many. I also played the shit out of Starsiege tribes and tribes ascend.
Been playing this since 1998. So i have lost count in hours.
I'm of two minds - they're about ties for me.
Pic related. I spent hours and hours collecting every toy dinosaur I could and dumped them (one at a time) into the bathroom in my hotel in Novac. Dinosaurs would clip through the walls and framerate dropped to about 2fps whenever I entered the room - sometimes even crashing my Xbox.
I did the same thing with 3: my Megaton room had the entire bed and floor covered with pre-war money (which I also did in Novac in NV). I had tables covered with the alien crystals from the DLC.
I'm not even sure why I do it. It's not like I have OCD or anything - I was just get this idea that "Wouldn't it be funny if..." and then spend days doing it.
Holy fucking shit dude, i forgot about that one, great game
Gta san andreas, 1000+
Elder scrolls: oblivion, 1000+
Fallout 3, 1000+
Brothers in arms: road to hill 30, 5 to 800
I played BIA on wave survival mode with a buddy of mine for ages
>into the bathroom in my hotel in Novac.
I used that room to store every animal part and egg in the game. Opening that door is a rotten body part landslide.
I like to think the stench in that room is a security measure against the largest stockpile of weapons, ammo, and meds in the fallout universe.
>my Megaton room had the entire bed and floor covered with pre-war money.
I had the heart shaped bed with a mountain of pre-war money.
The spare storage room upstairs was full of mutilated body parts and scrap metal.
i played it last year im playing it this year il be playing next year il miss all my childrens births for it the wif will leave in five years because im still playing it xbox live run out the day it released i havent renewed it since when i die il be playing it the guy who comes to get my body will see the tv and the controller on the table and he will also play it
fallout 3 the best game eva
Use it on another playthrough. Each time I try to horde some random thing. Last play-through it was packs and single cigarettes and whiskey bottles in the bath tub, and the cartons stacked as high as I could from the back wall.
> crash bash
> mount and blade: warband
> fallout 3
> dark souls
> metal gear solid 3
> kingdom hearts 1
> medevil 2
Currently stacking FAT amount of hours on Dota 2.
> tfw i'm in 1k mmr and I can't get the fuck out, no matter how hard I carry.
Combined, these games must taken at least 80% of my entire life...I'm 22. You do the math.
I'm going to show off how old I am.
Either Fallout 2 or MoO2.
Team Fortress 2, I have about 2300+ hrs because everything was so magical back then. Being new, exploring the maps, not knowing where the fuck to go, it was so fresh and just enthralled me to no end. And also the awesome people I meet and the shenanigans that ensue afterwards. Good fucking times.
Now it's been replaced by DotA 2. catching up. About 1990 hrs.
Yeah I found New Vegas much better than Fallout 3.
Coming from the previous games in the series I couldnt get used to how linear F3 was. Where as NV was like exploring a believable living breathing world.
>if you could pick one game to be remastered for next-gen consoles, which would you pick?
I played Tibia for over 10 years, same 1-5h a day, sometimes more. I made it to level 280 on my knight/203 on my paladin. Also played a friends level 500 character for countless hours..games got to shit now, Cip is just milking people now lol
I like new vegas more as well, but one thing that always makes me laugh is that since you can't keep playing after the end game (I get why you can't) you get to a point where every single faction of power is poised on the brink of war... and the only thing its waiting on is you to do something.
>Months go by in game
>are you going to attack the dam?
>yeah after I finish hunting down every bottle of nuka cola quartz
Soldier of Fortune 2 for the pc. I've played probably over 2000 hours since its release. Not the best graphics but hands down best multiplayer FPS I've ever played.
Fun fact - never completed single player
Recently im completely absorbed in X com long war mod.
When I finished enemy within my biggest complaint was how short the game was.
Its not ridiculously short like a console game. But it was such a good game I didnt want it to stop.
Long war slows the whole pace of the game down and adds more missions, weapons, skills, bigger squad size. more of everything really.
Why didn't anyone post this one yet. This game was so slow without emulator, probably the most hours and batteries in my life.
Over a years worth of gameplay tot in the 10 years I played it /win
You're lying. I'm a level 95 wood elf in Skyrim witch took me 420+ hours to achieve, so you being level 135 and taking "upwards of 10,000 hours" is straight up horse shit. As for "no way of knowing for sure" your saves tell you your play time. So what the fuck are you in about?
Yeah I guess I'm one of the fags that enjoyed it lmao. Granted, the first one is by far superior. I put WAY more time in the first one. I just wish the pvp had a better connection in the first one.
I've put 617 hours into Warframe so far, still don't regret any of it. I also have 200 hours in all main series pokémon games other than the new versions.
>Oh wow, I had forgotten about this game! :D Thanks for the memories, anon!
I had it on the commodore 64.
Got to level 2 but could never get very far past that.
But I was about 11 at the time.
I'm glad you do, but seriously, imagine if fallout 3 was on a next gen engine...
I burned through 3 game of the year editions alone on my 360. countless more added once i bought a laptop. and planning to add even more once i get it to work on my current computer but my steam version is fucked up.
well over 1000 hours put in.
500 on skyrim.
and 900 on morrowind.
long live the imperial empire.
OP here, you make it seem like spending that much time into a game is bad...some of us put that time in when we were young. Nothing to do with virginity.
I would have loved to say something cool like Final Fantasy 7 or X, which i really put some time in, or Counterstrike. But in the end, i think, even tho i played a lot of LoL lately, regarding my whole life, i spent the most time in Ragnarok. Was so addicted to this crap i almost dropped out of school.
One of the things about getting older is that you just don't have the time to play any more. (Oldfag here: early 40s - I'm also the Dino-hunter from above.)
I'm currently playing Dark Souls 1 and am about 200 hours total; first game was about 90 hours and then my game save corrupted (even though I didn't exit while it was saving) so I had to start again. At the moment, I'm in the Duke's Archives at the bonfire in the cell with the three crystal soldiers inside and two snake men outside that make a run for the ladder. I found that if you sit at the bonfire while you're outside the cell, the snake men just stand there and you can wail on them, backstab, etc. So, while I'm on the phone, I'll farm them and the crystal guys for souls and repeat. Been doing this for a couple days now.
I have several games that I haven't even opened yet; instead, I tend to play games where I can do those mindless, repetitive things (soul farming, dino-hunting) while I'm doing something else.
looks like small time to the rest of your guys but FONV and it's 550 hrs.
Nearly 500 hours on Skyrim, much of that was modding!
Anyone jealous, I've never played FO3 and just bought FO3 Game of the year edition and have 100's of hours of playing awaiting me, don't you wish you could forget some games and play them as it was the first time again, I do, especially with all the old Tomb Raider and Medal of Honour games.
