Yeah, old movies are good aswell but they are only posting them on 4chan to look sophisticated.

There is a reason movies doesnt look the same nowdays or the actors act the same as they did 50 years ago.

>>
>>601556192
It's one of the most all encompassing films I've ever seen. It literally goes through every emotional situation we deal with in our lives. It pulled more emotion out of me than any film I've seen. It's infuriating and hilarious. Kaufman refuses to put anything on camera that isn't 100% realist, other than when he decides to veer off in to his artsy moments
>>
>>601556314
It's "substance" is created by an over exaggerated falsehood of daily life for starters. The plot is that of piece of a small piece of shit spinning around the bowl, teasing the viewer of some sensible climax that never properly delivers
>>
>>601557641
Booooooo
>>
>>601557022

>>
>>601556192
Im not the one you asked but...
The pacing of the movie, the sound, the music everything goes together perfectly.
The acting is superb and there is not a single bad actor in that movie.
And then there is the haunting story of the man trying to live up to his own expectations of him self mixed with kaufmans wierd style.

All you just said is your own opinion it does not explain why this film is supposed to be objectively bad. That was at least what they were going for. Either that or they ran out of money for color. But I appreciate the fact they wanted to try a new thing for a pretty popular movie. And that clearly won the Academy over
>>
>>601557641
This one was almost complete bullshit.
The movie tries to be something is isnt the black and white filter on the movie just makes it bad they wanna be this emotional artistic indie movie but rather make it parody.

I might have liked it if it wasnt in black and white but now it was and that made it look like they were trying to hard to make it "artsy" instead of just making a good movie.
