I loved taking Xanax and drinking for years. The only problem were the blackouts.

I started taking Ativan when I quit drinking for anxiety. I took 2-3 mg a day spaced out throughout the day. When going out to party I would pop 4-5 mg at a time to feel good. After 2 years I decided fuck it I'm done.

Ended up in the emergency room. Had no idea I was addicted. Always just thought the anxiety was coming back because I could feel when I needed a dose.

Tapered down over two months to get off.

I have anxiety and get panic attacks that keep me from sleeping a lot, but it's not like the kind of panic attack that paralyzes some people.
