Well, your first mistake is buying anything Logitech. They're notorious for cheap ass flimsy cords that break with light use. Doesn't matter what it is, headphones, mice, keyboards.... they use the cheapest quality cords for their shit.

And don't go wireless, unless you like dead batteries and static and interference.

I got a pair of these and have had them for over 2 years now. I can already hear fags typing out their "HUUUUR THOSE SUK FGT" replies but the fact is, they're built well, they sound great and can handle a lot of bass, the mic is crystal clear, and the cord isn't cheap and generic. There are certainly better ones out there, but they're great for gaming or music. They're fairly cheap on Amazon

I have a few pairs of headsets/headphones.

HyperX Cloud
HyperX Cloud II
Logitech G930 (Wireless one/virtual SS)
ATH-M50xBL
JLab Audio Bomboras
California Headphone's Silverados
Sennheiser 558s

If you're really just gaming on it and don't really care for the music quality, get HyperX Cloud II or G930.
If you like good quality sound and everything else, I recommend either Sennheiser 598s or Sennheiser 558s if you do the mod to make them sound like the 598s. Also, no one wants the shit colored headphones so I suggest just modding the Sennheiser 558s. Then, buy a mod mic for it.

I do not recommend the ATH-M50 series unless it's really noisy around your computer and you want to block out sounds as they're closed-back. They aren't as comfortable as the Sennheisers(open-back) or HyperX(closed-back) series. They're mid-way between over-ear and on-ear even though they're advertised as the former. They will fit small ears, but anything bigger is uncomfortable for the wearer. Sound is great, best part is the bass.

In short, get the Sennheiser 558s, mod them to sound like the 598s, and buy a separate mod mic.

Wanted to get myself a new headset as well. Any thoughts on Sennheiser PC 330?
>>
>>599211572
I'm verry interested in this model, but how does the mute function work?

I currently have a corsair vengeance 2100 wireless headset, but there is a problem with the mic.
When you want to mute the mic, you need to bring the boom of the mic up. And when I do this, it just keeps enabled. So i think this is a mechanical problem and not a problem with software.

and I have this headset from last year april.
