good point. I would suggest some sort of knife, and I would suggest the largest legal blade you can carry. Not lying. A good knife is very beneficial for a lot of things, not just defense. If you can't do that, then maybe an axe to help get firewood. A good solid knife would work for that, too, and have more uses.
