Just finished watching Breaking Bad.
Name me a better TV Show?
Protip: you can't.
Why not give us a real challenge, yeah?
wait, you didn't enjoy hours of this?
i'll never umderstand the appeal of this. after deadwood, sons of anarchy, sopranos, sharpe, generation kill, spartacus, rome, etc etc etc i just thought breaking bad was poorly written, non sensical, boring bullshit. someone explain to me why everone loves it. i feel like people are pretending. not a troll. genuinely dont get it.
I would challenge OP's statement.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes is, from my perception, a far more superior show than Breaking Bad based on the criteria of
substance to the plot line
overall entertainment value
LoGH is an epic anime that explores the nature of government and democracy, what it means to be an efficient dictator and provides multiple perspectives on power with some of the best classical music you'll ever hear playing in the background.
Don't judge it based on the fact that it is anime. Anime is simply another medium.
I'd watch all 110 episodes before judging it at all.
Perhaps Two and a half men, from season 8
Breaking Bad was awesome OP, definitely the most entertaining show I've seen. Very excited to see Better Call Saul.
Still trying to find something as good. I've watched all of the shows people seem to think are better and couldn't get into them.
GoT was great untill afiter the first season i read the book, and yeah it's kind of overrated. BIg show, lot of money, but that's it. Each seasons are boring except for the 9th episode...
Breaking Bad is shit. I managed to watch until the episode on S2 where he finds out the cancer is in remission and after that at a pool party he forces his kid to drink alcohol and has a huge fight over it. One of the most cringe worthy shit I have watched on TV. I deleted the rest of the episodes, its garbage.
It's one of the only shows I felt had a competent finale.
From cutting to black to becoming a lumberjack to shows that end on unresolved cliffhangers I can't think of another show which had a decent ending.
If Deadwood kept on going... Maybe might have been better.
SoA was fun, but listening to Jax say the world "Club" in his stupid accent drove me nuts. Plus the hamfisted "Jesus" references in the finale was terrible.
Game of Thrones is freaking amazing, but after you read the books it doesn't hold up too well.
Lost is a piece of shit. The writers had no clue where they were going. It is the most disrespectful show toward their audience.
Attack on Titan gives me an erection.
TMNT on Nick gives me hard nipples...
I am going to go make a pizza roll......
Breaking Bad was good but the finale is shit. Lost was good...still lame ass ending. Sons of Anarchy was great but not every season and again ending was shit. Why can't these programs have a better ending.. They get to popular.. lol my favorite shows are the endless destruction on the 24 hour news cycle.
I grew up watching Red Dwarf.
>actually has themes
>only has one average season (2)
>dense as fu
>"I'm doing this for my fammmly" seems to be the theme
>first 2.5 seasons average, last half season mental
>has admittedly really good scenario
The times we live in eh. The Wire is so much better
they're such different shows. i don't know how you can compare them. one's a sprawling tapestry of a crime ridden city from the police to the docks to the politics to the education and media
the other is about a family man who becomes a meth lord.
bullshit. stop beeing antimainstream.
even when its not your type of show, you cant say objective thats a shity serie with bad charakters... so annoyed from those statements
>uuuh i dont like it it must be shit
>uuuh i dont like it but a lot of other people so i am much more random and edgy
>uuuh i suck dicks on a daily routine.
walter white is a awesome charakter, not becausw he is such a sicko and hard badass. he makes a complete evolution through the serie, very interesting. his targets are changeing and his behaviour to. most of the series got a fix charaktersystem, the funny, the bad, the good ones. but here its hard to make a difference
I have a story about breaking bad.
>In line to audition for a film school's student films.
>8/10 grill in front of me, she's talking to some nigger about acting
>She sees my los pollos hermanos shirt
>She gets smile on her face and says "hey I like breaking bad too!"
>Few minutes later she notices nigger is trying to flirt, drops conversation
>Turns to me, "So let's talk about breaking bad."
>I immediately respond "Yeah, so, meth, right?"
>"That's not something you'd think to hear from someone immediately"
>She tries to stop talking as fast as she can, leaves and comes back a while later.
>Faces forward the whole time.
Later I told them the show got me into rock candy, pretty sure they thought I was talking about actual meth.
